About this property
Spacious 1 story Home in Rapid City Historic District
A stylish place, perfect for family trips, especially families who have restrictions and limitations with easy accessibility without stairs. It holds the charm of the old times in the heart of the historic district, but with all updated amentities. Close proximity to all your daily needs: walk to the grocery store, the park, multiple restaurants or for your morning coffee at Starbucks.
Discover the beauty of the Black Hills. Mt Rushmore, and the Crazy Horse monuments are only a beautiful 30 min drive away. And of course no one should miss the scenic Needles Highway!
One hour drive towards southwest and you will get to Hot Springs where the Mammoth Site is located. And for those whose mission is to visit all the national parks, you are here for a treat: 1 hour drive to the Badlands, 1 hour drive to the Wind Cave, and two hour drive to the Devil's Tower.
Our house offers anything that our guests may need to enjoy their time in Rapid City and the Black Hills. The kitchen and all bathrooms have been tastefully upgraded recently.
This is a ranch style one-story building that has no stairs inside. There are only two stairs on the entryway to get into the house. Alternatively, a ramp in the garage allows for wheelchair access or for individuals who can't tolerate stairs.
There is plenty of natural light and closet space throughout the house. A charming collection of board games is available in the office room; all 1950s version, which takes us back in time and reminds us of the good old days when the house was built.
The living room and the connected dining room are quite spacious and well-lit. The comfortable sofa can turn into a comfy full-size bed (memory foam pad for extra comfort). The two reclining chairs are perfect to relax and enjoy your favorite shows or movies on the 60" TV.
The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a big dresser and a 55" TV. The master bathroom has a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower.
The second bedroom has one queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has queen-sized bunk beds.
The second full bathroom offers a bathtub shower and double sink vanity.
There is also a powder bathroom located near the kitchen.
All bedrooms and full bathrooms are separated from the living area by a fairly long hallway, so some guests can enjoy their quiet time to relax and sleep while others can keep on with their fun activities.
The kitchen is well equipped with essentials to put all your culinary skills to test. It will also serve you well if "your best recipe is takeout"!
You can grill your favorite meats and vegetables on the propane gas grill on the patio, gather around a 6-chair patio dining set and enjoy a nice dinner under the starry sky in the backyard.
Furry friends are welcome for an extra fee. Service dogs stay for free; documentation required.
Last but not the least, the garage has plenty of space for your cars and bikes. Two covered spots, two uncovered spots on the driveway, and plenty of free street parking make your riding adventures through the Black Hills more convenient.
