Newly Built Studio Across the St. from a Secluded Beach. This Unit is Unfinished. There are Quality Beds & some Teak Furniture. A Kitchenette & a Large Bathroom, Quartz Counter Tops, Stainless Appliances, & Recessed Lights. Strategically located in between 2 Main Breaks. 10 Min in Either Direction. Walk to Rivers, Jungle Trails, Fishing, Swimming & more. TWO Fiber Optic WIFI Systems w/Battery BackUp. Digital Nomads Welcome. Potable H20, Fans in All Rooms, On Site Mgmt.
We are "Kai Vida, Pavones Family Surf Lodging". Strategically located between The Point & Pilon.
Please understand that this unit is unfinished which is why it's well priced. There is furniture on order that hasn't arrived yet. The photos show the current state. There is no hot water but there is filtered regular and drinking water. There is no AC but there are 4 ceiling fans and a wall fan. There is no glass windows or wood front door. All windows and the front door is screened in as per photos. If you've never been to the jungle without AC, this unit is probably not for you. There is a very nice breeze upstairs and the windows and doors get a nice cross wind but the jungle is humid and if you don't have experience living in an open space, you may have issues adjusting. The side windows face North so there's little exposure to sun. I'd like to be as transparent as possible in order to avoid any negative feedback. Please ask if you're unsure of anything.

INTERNET DETAILS - We have two separate systems. One is Fiber Optic Hard Wired. The second system is a different company that provides satellite point to point Fiber Optic WIFI. We use a battery back up system called an uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with this company. When the power goes out, you should still have internet on this system for a short while. I believe we have the best WIFI system in the area. We understand the need for a quality connection and built our WIFI with the working person in mind.
Usually if my WIFI is down, everybody in the area is down. Also, please know that our WIFI system can be uncontrollably affected by nature. Power lines and Fiber Optic Cables can get taken down by a tree and the whole area will be down until it's repaired.
NOTE: If you need any cookware or household items, simply let me know. I'll approve and I will reimburse you right away. Maybe some glass dishes are broken or the past guest burned a pan, or left silverware at the beach and now you're low on utensils. Unfortunately, doing kitchenware inventory between guests isn't always possible. Let me know, you can buy what you need at the local stores and leave it here for the next guest. I will reimburse you. We aim to give you the best possible experience.
The entire property is yours to enjoy. It's about 2 acres total. We have fruit trees such as mandarin lime, mango, Plantain, Banana, Guanabana & more as well as many different types of plants. The lot is shared with our other two units on the property.
Other things to note
There is a 24hr respected local property care taker that lives in a small house in front of this house with his wife. Feel safe and secure when you're at the property or out enjoying the area. SOLAR LIGHTS - Please enjoy all of our lights. Feel free to move them and highlight anything you like. They often need some adjustment.
House Rules
Must leave WIFI on. No disconnecting WIFI. Dogs are ok provided they are not on the beds and furniture. If there is pet odor or damage we will secure your deposit. Maximum 4 guests. This is a Condo with one shared concrete wall. There may or not be a guest staying in the Condo North of you. We promote a family atmosphere. Please be courteous.
Toiletries - We provide basic household items for a 24 hour stay: Dish soap & sponge, 2 coffee packs (4 cups ea), 2 creamer packs, 2 rolls toilet paper, 1 roll paper towel, 3 small soap bars, and 1 kitchen hand soap. We do not supply extra product such as toilet paper. Please purchase extra supplies for your extended stay. You are also responsible for your own laundry detergent. We do not supply any laundry supplies besides the machines. We also supply two olive oil packs and salt / pepper.
Maximum Number of Guests = 4. IMPORTANT, exceeding the maximum number of guests and pets is against the house rules. We are strict about occupancy. The fine is $20 extra per person or pet per night.

Why they chose this property
We are strategically located between Pavones Point and Pilon. It's about a 10 minute drive in either direction. Our village is Cocal Amarillo. It's often referred to as: "Cocal", "La Hierba" or "ShermeeVille".
There are many places to surf & explore or make the most of the beautiful fruitful lush landscaped grounds. Nearby we have: Secluded beaches for miles, Surf, Fish, Yoga, Nature Adventures, ATV Tours & Rentals, Horse back Riding, Turtle Releasing, Waterfalls, local rivers to explore and jungle hikes too!
