Enjoy lake front living in this pristine cottage-esque home on beautiful Crescent Lake; a location away from the hustle and bustle, yet well situated for many four-season outdoor activities.

This newly renovated family-friendly home faces West which allows for phenomenal waterfront sunset views. An expansive deck leads down to a sandy beach area with walk-in water access (perfect for younger children and launching your kayak), and a large dock (which can hold a boat up to 20-25 ft).

The open-layout (living room, kitchen, dining area and 4-season porch seating) is perfect for comfortably hosting 8 people (perfect for two families) and offers lake views from just about every seat. The entire home has been newly renovated (2016); new carpet (in bedrooms), new hardwood floors downstairs, updated, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and fresh paint in every room.

Amenities include: gas grill, 2 adult kayaks, 2 children kayaks, 1 canoe, linens (sheets, towels, beach towels), wireless internet, netflix, and washer/dryer.

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, sleeps 8:
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): Queen bed and full-sized futon.
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): The "bunk room" - twin bed with twin trundle, and a twin over full bunk bed (4 beds total)
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): This is a huge master suite with a small deck overlooking the lake. It includes a king bed and a sitting area with a pull-out bed (unfolds to queen bed). The sitting area is great for game-playing, watching TV, and/or quiet relaxing. Perfect spot for children to hang out for some down time!
Bathroom 1 (downstairs): includes shower stall
Bathroom 2 (upstairs): very large bathroom, includes bath tub and shower combo.

Great location for all seasons. In addition to summer water activities enjoy: great trails for hiking (right out your front door); summer activities and winter skiing at Mount Sunapee (just 20 minutes away); leaf peeping in the fall; ice-skating & snowmobiling in the winter.

Crescent lake is located in Acworth / Unity, NH, near Sunapee, Clarement, and Newport. Shopping and antiquing just a short drive away!

Magical Getaway
This is our fourth time staying at this beautiful lakeside home. As always the house was warm and welcoming for a group of five adults. The kitchen well stocked for nights of cooking and BBQs. But most importantly is the Deck/Dock I call it. The views of the lake, the tranquility of the setting and the stars at night were simply magical from the dock. Everyone including my two pups enjoyed the rest and relaxation we got! Thanks again and we will be back!

Another Stay in Fall Splendor
The property was just as wonderful as the first time we stayed 2 years ago. The location is beautiful, private and peaceful with amazing views and plenty of amenities. There is not much you can think of needing that isn't provided - the kitchen is well set up and stocked, there are tons of games and puzzles and books, and even though it was chilly my daughter was able to take the pedal boat out on the lake. Chris and K.T. are easily reached and very helpful if you have any questions or issues. Claremont is about 20 minutes away, and had more to offer than during our previous stay in terms of restaurants and groceries, if you must venture out! We drove through the fall colors to Woodchuck Cider House in Vermont for cider tasting - it was a long trip but worth the effort! Thanks so much, we will be back!

Wonderful Week At Myles Away
This is a wonderful, comfortable house in a beautiful setting. There are stunning views from inside the house and out. Although there were only 2 of us and our pup, the house could easily accommodate a large family. We explored the area daily and took the pedal boat out every afternoon. Lovely!

Wonderful space for family
Myles Away was very clean, bright, and welcoming. We spent a lot of time on the large deck over the water swinging in the hammock chairs and relaxing as a family. We have a two and a half year old and there were plenty of toys for her to play with, and the water access was also perfect for her. This house came with everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable. Wonderful stay, thank you.

Miles Away/Myles Away
If you are looking to get away from it all, this is your time away! A calm, peaceful place that cradled us for a week of solitude. The maples arch over the rock encrusted deck for a full day of shade. Plenty of watercraft. Three of us caught and released 38 sunfish off the dock. It is “miles away” from urban centers. Enjoy your time away!

Perfect Lake home
My family and I had a wonderful time at Myles Away. The house was well appointed with all you could need. Lots of games, books, lake toys and all the little extras you don’t always think of (sunscreen,bug spray, beach towels, pack n play, baby gates were such a great help etc). We felt right at home and enjoyed the property immensely. Clean, comfortable, we can’t wait to go back. King bed was comfy, kids bunk room was perfect, decks were wonderful, easy access lake entry with a nice clean entry (weed free) to the main part of the cove. Quiet, quiet, quiet. Neighbors all very friendly with my 2 sons. No AC, but adequate fans for all rooms; the owners have truly thought of everything. Netflix access on main tv for the rainy days helped keep little one’s happy for a bit. Dog friendly was a huge plus. Our golden had so much fun swimming all day and lounging on the dock all night. Large dog crate provided was a huge help! Thanks!

The perfect Lake Stay
Our family had a wonderful time here enjoying Crescent Lake. The house was complete with plenty of entertainment including a fire pit, outdoor and indoor games, a paddle boat, kayaks, and a canoe. The outside dock area made for a great space to enjoy splendid scenery and quality time with family. My favorite moments were spent sitting with my feet in the water watching my dog try to catch a fish. The water temperature was perfect and even though it did get warm in the house by late afternoon/ early evening- it does cool off at night. We would recommend this house to anyone looking to enjoy themselves on a lake.

Just Fabulous
This property is fabulous in every way. Its all the best parts of camping on a lake but with a beautiful house and all the amenities and none of the yucky, uncomfortable or exhausting parts of camping. We honestly can’t say enough good about this place- our kids love it as much as we do- this was our second stay and we are already rebooked for next year!

Beautiful home
We loved renting this property. The house itself was beautiful and the location was amazing. There were plenty of places to sit and relax in and outside of the house. The house itself stayed cool and was very comfortable during our stay. There was plenty for us to do such as kayaking, pedal boat, and paddle boarding. The lake itself was very quiet which was perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. We loved this stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We just returned from a MOST wonderful week at Myles Away. The house was lovely and clean with everything you would need. The setting and the lake was amazing! The views and sunsets were spectacular. We had a truly special time and can't wait to go back!

Paradise on the Lake
We felt Myles Away from all the cares of the world when we stayed at this place the week of October 11th through the 16th. The views of the lake were exquisite as they reflected the magnificent brilliant foliage of the fall season and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The fishing off the dock was rocking and almost every time we cast our lines out from the dock we caught something. My husband was slightly agitated when I landed the BIGGEST fish a 13” largemouth bass. LOL. The wonderful thing about this dock is it is the sun so it is nice and warm in the fall as we sat in the air chairs enjoying the splendor of reconnecting with nature. We enjoyed the use of the canoes as the lake was very calm and serene. The inside of the house was very comfortable and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. If you like a dark room and like to sleep in the Master Bedroom has skylights that allow the early morning sun to pour into the room so bring your mask to cover your eyes. The only improvements which could be made by the owners are as follows: The upstairs bathroom could use more light it was on the dark side which made it hard to see (a lot of the lights on the light fixture over the bathroom mirror were burned out). Allow the renters to use the firewood you have for the fire pit—it was very inconvenient to go out to purchase firewood. And, having a hot tub on the premises outside by the lake which is off-limits to the renters is absolute torture. The bottom line is it was a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your amazing lake house.

Staying here was the highlight of our summer! The house is even better in person and every detail has been thought of. It's wonderful to stay in a vacation home that has such an inviting kitchen with high quality cookware since you'll want to be making your own meals and spending as much time on the lake as possible. We already miss it but will be booking again asap so we can lay in the hammock and watch the sunsets soon enough...

Nice fall getaway
I am a big fan of vacationing before Memorial Day and After Labor day, and we barely made it a week out of the latter before spending a wonderful long weekend at Myles Away. The weather cooperated real well as we enjoyed taking the boats out on the lake and exploring trails (and the rushing river/waterfalls) nearby. The house is very cute, hosts K.T. and Chris did a great job with their recent renovations making it a very welcome and relaxing place for our family to enjoy a birthday weekend. We had meals on the porch, fires in the evenings, and plenty to do during the day - so much so, we didn't spend any time int he surrounding towns, just the immediate area. We enjoyed our stay and are willing to bet you will too.

Divine!
We stayed at Myles Away for a week in July and it truly was divine. The decorating of the interior is spot on and beautiful- gave me lots of inspiration for home. Furniture is modern and clean yet cozy. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean and well stocked with high end everything. Now the lakefront. Wow- just wow. That deck- the hanging hammock chairs- the sunsets, the swims, the kayak trips around the lake, the quiet cove, the birds, the shade under the maples, the campfires, the loons, the fish who visit right at shore, the bats at dusk eating up all the mosquitoes- I literally could go on and on. Our kids and us were all in heaven- even on the rainy days. (There are tons of books, puzzles, games and Netflix for that). The only thing that took the sting out of leaving was knowing we had already rebooked for next year. We even celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary here- just us with a romantic steak dinner cooked on the huge grill eaten under the stars and Edison bulb outdoor lighting on the deck after we tucked the kids in. Couldn’t be more pleased with our family vacation here and the dreamy memories we made. Thank you KT and Chris!

Has it all!
Beautiful lake home in a very quiet area of NH. Having kayaks on site for us to use was a huge plus... no need to bring our own. The lake was just the right size, and the house had plenty of room for my family and pets. We loved slowly swaying in the tree hammocks, listening to the bull frogs and loons. Kitchen has everything you need and then some. The owners were flexible with my reservation changing, and responded quickly to my questions. Would highly recommend this home.
