Love's Anchor By The Sea - Upper Island Cove
We are so blessed to share our wonderful, newly renovated, century-old home with you, here in the small, historical fishing community of Upper Island Cove. It is known as the walled city due to the cliffs that surround this quaint area. This outport off Conception Bay was first settled as early as 1675 and there is a lot of history in the area, with the rock walls, old fishing sheds, and historical homes, including our home built at least 120 years ago. We hope this will be a place you can fall in love with as we did.
In this beautiful house you will find all the luxuries of home. This quaint century-old home has been converted to a three-bedroom home with many features. These include a four-piece bathroom, semi-ensuite, double walk-out decks, one private deck for master bedroom, corner jacuzzi tub with view, stand-up corner shower, dishwasher, BBQ, washer & dryer and wood floors throughout. In addition to the elegant master bedroom with a queen size bed, there are two charming bedrooms with double beds, and a living room with a pull-out double sofabed.
Many other wonderful benefits are included such as rocky beach 50 yards down the lane, views of the town wharf, quiet secluded area, access to shopping 15 minutes up or down the bay. Many attractions in the area within 15-30 minute drives such as museums, historical trails, art exhibits, beach, popular, historical town of Brigus and our town is just over an hour from St. John's.
