Nature getaway tent campsite in a beautiful grassy meadow on our 2-acre property. River access is nearby for floating, fishing, exploring, hiking, birding, or just relaxing and playing in the river. There is also a horseshoe pit. There is lots of wildlife! If you feel like mingling, the famous Pritchard Tavern is less than 2 miles away. This campsite includes a fire ring, a picnic table, and a dual tent shower/toilet for campers. We hope you'll love it here as much as we do!

Accurately described an a real reflection of the owners. Far enough in with easy access. But not so far that it feels like a trek. Geogf an Lynn have done an amazing job, an are extremely nice people that simply want to share this with others. Upper river is beautiful, an access to the river is plenty. The campsites are clean an laid out to provide privacy an maintained an clean. Perfect for a family or a solo trip. I'll be telling others, an hope this takes the guess work out of it for you.

About the host
Hosted by Lynn
We are a couple who loves the outdoors. That includes fishing, birdwatching, river rafting, hiking, and whatever wildlife we can find. We also appreciate meeting new people and sharing stories.
Why they chose this property
Our property is in a small community in the backcountry of the North Fork of the Couer d'Alene River. We own a little bit more than 2 acres of wooded, grassy land. We are in a valley surrounded by mountains. There is plenty of wildlife and river access nearby. It's paradise. This area is close enough to wildlife and all the enjoyment of the outdoors but safe enough for family. There is plenty of room to play.
What makes this property unique
We are in the North Shoshone backcountry, located in a scenic valley with wooded forests and grassy meadows. Everything is close and accessible. This includes hiking trails, wildlife, and excellent birdwatching. North Fork of the CD'A River access is close for fishing, hiking, rafting, floating, and just playing in the water.
