Stay in Rutland, VT

We stayed at this lovely house over our winter break. We came to ski Okemo. The drive was easy( 25-30 mins). The location was great-house is right in the center of Rutland with access to many shops and restaurants. The house was very clean and warm, comfortable beds. Thank you for a great stay!

Great house close to downtown Rutland

Everything was good, except road noise was a bit of an issue. We closed the windows in the front of the house and that solved the problem.

Rutland stay

The house is very old so has its quirks. Very well kept.I would suggest thicker blinds as they are very thin and you can see all the light through..The road is quite busy and loud. Otherwise a cute comfortable place to stay

Family spring ski trip

Older house with some descent updates. Walking distance to shopping venues and restaurants, but with some car traffic. Ski resorts only 15-30 min away. The house is a older, so pre-set your temp based on the main floor with the understanding that the top floor may be hotter than below. Some minor problems were observed with the hardware and fixtures but reported right away with no drama from the owner. Only disappointment was that I couldn’t ship packages directly to the house, but as advised, there is a Walgreens, UPS store and Post Office - Parcel Pickup as helpful alternatives that are close by. Owner was responsive via VRBO messaging. Bring a night mask as the blinds don’t fully block the early morning sun or the neighbors driveway light at night. Some garbage or junk in the yard revealed after the snow melt, but the interior was very clean. Would consider staying again, as this stay is better than other places.
