We had a wonderful stay with our family of 5 at the cottage. The proximity to town and the beaches made our trip fun-filled for everyone. Hope to come back another time soon!
We had a wonderful week with our family staying at this property. The hosts were very communicative and quick to answer any questions we had. The location is fabulous, you can’t beat having silence in the evening and a 10 minute walk to Juice Bar! The house and the layout were not a great fit for us at this stage of life with two little ones under two, but we had a wonderful week.
Great hosts with excellent communication. Very clean and well equipped house providing yeverything needed in a great location convenient to town and other points on the island. Access to the shed with many bikes, beach chairs and toys. Plenty of off street parking. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you for letting is stay at your house!
My family had a wonderful stay at the property in Nantucket. The house was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and conveniently located. The kitchen was small but very nice with new appliances. It had everything you need to make any meal at home. There was a separate dining room that you could close off with glass doors that was very handy for remote work. The wifi worked great. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was great having three bathrooms. All three bedrooms had AC units and several fans were available. The deck was nice especially in the morning.
The house also had several bicycles and beach chairs which were all in good shape. Best of all, the house was an easy 10 min (or less) walk to anywhere in town. Steps beach was our favorite and only a 5 minute bike ride.
We highly recommend the property and would stay there again.
This trip was special for us as our daughter was getting engaged in Nantucket. Location of the property was wonderful. Walking distance to everywhere.
We enjoyed our stay. Only issue we faced as we have all adults in our groups is about privacy. The third bedroom is off the second bedroom and has no access to main house or bathroom without going through the second bedroom. It is great for people with small children but for adults the owners may consider a sofa bed in the sun room or sitting room with a screen. That room had nice breeze and nice to sit during days.and has access to the bathroom and main area. The third bedroom didn’t have any air conditioner so was very hot in Summer months. I would rent it again if owners made some changes so every bedroom has some privacy. They were simply wonderful people.
It was an excellent location directly on the 3 way intersection where two of the roads took you into the downtown area. Close to the the first Congregational church which was where the wedding was held. We did not rent a car and walked into town everyday. House has AC in the bedrooms which was good as they were having a warm week while we were there. Carol, the owner was very helpful and reached out to us a few days before our stay. It is a true older Nantucket house. We loved the back deck and the dining room. kitchen was small but had everything we needed for our breakfast each morning.
We had a wonderful stay. The house and location were perfect for us. Super comfortable. Being set back from the street, it’s quiet and peaceful sanctuary. So nice to have some outdoor space this close to the center of town - only a short walk to MaIn St. A lovely yard to toss a frisbee with my son and a deck to sit out on and enjoy breakfast. We didn’t have the option to bring our own bikes to the island so having access to bikes at the house was a great plus for us. Caryl was super helpful in getting us oriented with their home and the island. All-in-all, a we couldn’t have had a better stay.
We had a great experience. Home is in a wonderful location, which is a short walk from town as well as close to bike paths and provides easy access to the beach. Caryl was very responsive and made the process very easy. Highly recommend!
My children and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Greg and Caryl's quaint Nantucket cottage and were sad to leave after our week-long stay. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed with space that exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had every gadget imaginable, and the location was wonderful--just one block from the center of Town! We had been in touch with Greg and Caryl during our stay and I can't begin to tell you how helpful and responsive they were! This really was a perfect spot for our family, and we look forward to returning soon!

A beautiful, quintessential Nantucket home. Excellent walkable location. Owners were beyond helpful. Will book again. Has everything you could possibly think of. Exceeded our expectations. Thank you !!
Just an awesome property, perfect location, old style Nantucket!
This property is right at the top of India Street, super close to downtown yet quiet and with a great deck and yard for lounging and outdoor dining. It's a cool old house, lots of character, warm and cozy. More than anything it's location, location, location! We were there with my whole immediate family, I've been coming to Nantucket for 55+ years and this was one of the best rentals we've had, you can't go wrong!
We had the best week in this charming cottage. Perfectly located, one block from town! The home had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation on Nantucket.

beautiful home in a great location!
We had a great stay at this home! We love how it is so close to town and how the large yard and back deck make it feel very private. We appreciated being able to use the many amenities provided - the boogie boards, the beach chairs, the bikes, and the kitchen for some nice meals at home. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful, lovely home in fantastic location
We loved staying here. We've rented this house several years in a row and plan to return. It's very charming, very well kept, clean and organized. It has a large yard and a private deck in the back - a wonderful place to relax and read. The location is fantastic. Just a few minutes to town and all the amazing restaurants Nantucket has to offer. The owners, Caryl and Greg are terrific. We definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing Location/Immaculate
Our first trip to Nantucket was amazing and we could not have picked a better place to call home to live in for a week. The Liberty Street location was amazing, only a 5 minute walk to the center of town and only a 1 block walk to the famous Black Eye Susan for our breakfasts.
The house is what you would image a Nantucket cottage to be, it was very clean and in a serene setting down the long driveway. The lovely new deck was a wonderful spot for reading and relaxing, after our long walks around town. Everything was provided for us, allowing us to fly onto the island directly, with our small suitcases.
The Wave shuttle takes you all around town and to the beaches, and all the bus stops are an easy walking distance from the home. Opening the windows allowed for a gentle breeze throughout the house and at night wonderful for sleeping.
Thanks for sharing your home, we enjoyed our time and look forward to returning to the island next year.

Best Kept Secret on Nantucket
What a gem Liberty St. is for a vacation! The house is close to town, private location, driveway and loads of Nantucket charm. The owners went out of their way to make the house memorable. They purchased new kitchen ware, beautiful towels and linens, sparkling rooms and floors, and topped it off with freshly cut hydrangea in a vase sitting on the kitchen table. We already are dreaming of going to Nantucket next summer and staying at Liberty St.

our first week on Nantucket
Spent a lovely week post Labor Day '11. Everything the post says. We ate out only once! Walked or rode bikes everywhere. Great location. Only thing we will do different this year will be to bring our own bikes(our comfort level!) Very comfortable. It was great to be on the Island during the week. We brought our own cooler with prepared foods so it was easy. Everything you need in the kitchen. Enjoyed walking or riding to all the historical venues we hadn't been to before. I think our most enjoyable evening was at the Cisco Brewery where there was local music. Just need to remember to take you sandwich with you as they weren't serving any food. Museum a must and you need time there.

Wonderful week
We spent a week last summer and will spend three weeks this summer at this charming, well-located, and well-stocked house. Because we were only going for one week, and the house is so close to town, we decided not to bring the car on the ferry. We were able to walk to the house from the ferry and then ride our bikes (or take the island shuttle service ) everywhere else. the location is the best of both worlds -- very close to town( 3 minute walk to Main Street) but extremely quiet and serene.
The house is set back from the street with a wonderful yard to play catch or frisbee. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. Having two bathrooms is a huge plus. There is a beautiful sun room/dining area that we were able to use as an office when my husband and I had to get some work done.
We enjoyed our stay and we can't wait to return this summer
