About this property

Alaskan Leisure Lake House South of Soldotna

Come stay in our private home with 2880 sq ft of living space. This 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home is in a smaller neighborhood comprised of full time Alaskans. Enjoy the beautiful views and fishing for trout just steps from our door on Leisure Lake. We have a large yard and over 200 peony plants, which are in full bloom usually late July to early August. Enjoy the deck or large backyard which faces the lake with a double swing to watch the sunset over Mt Redoubt or the inlet. We always have a ton of wildlife to view and have daily sightings of Sand Hill Cranes. On occasion we have moose, beavers, porcupines, loons and swans visit the lake.
Our home sleeps 9 people including 2 people in our large sunroom overlooking the lake, mountains and sunset over Cook Inlet In total we have 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full/twin bunk and 2 portable beds available. We also have a indoor hot tub available for use. We offer fridge and freezer space separate from our main kitchen refrigerator for fish. We are located just under 10 miles from the Kenai river and just under 15 miles from the Kasilof river. You will be within driving distance to many beautiful places on the Kenai Peninsula, including Captain Cook State Park, Kenai, Seward and Homer.
We would love to share our piece of Alaskan paradise with you!

Alaska Family Vascation

This was our first time to Alaska and this place helped make it extra special. Lisa was wonderful to work with and has a very beautiful home that I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and take in the Alaskan experience. Lots of helpful tips from Lisa on things to do and see while we were there. She even brought in a pack-n-play for our little one to sleep in for our trip to AK! I don't have anything negative to say except for the rain. When the sun was shining, it was absolutely breathe taking! but you can't control the weather. all in all - 5 out of 5 stars for this place!

Really nice home & setting

We all enjoyed our stay. It's in a great location to fishing & processing options at the home. This is a warm home to relax & enjoy the fruit of your labor. Watching the wildlife right out the windows, whether it was crane, beavers, eagles etc. We highly recommend this home!

Beautiful property with all the amenities and lots to do in the surrounding area. We are visiting from Oregon, family and fishing, so we really liked that they provided fish cleaning and processing area as well as extra fridge and freezer for fish.
