We really enjoyed our time at the Tiny House. The location is private, but close to attractions in the area. It is ideal for "unplugging" and relaxing while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.
Positives: Very clean, for a tiny house the space was well utilized, comfortable. Had almost everything we needed. Easy access to the places that we wanted to go. Also the owner was quick to respond to questions.
Negative: Only 1 - no wi-fi. The only issue with not having wi-fi was unable to pull up directions from where we wanted to be, unable to research some topics we were discussing. Had spotty connection without it. Did NOT hinder our time of enjoyment whatsoever.
This property was perfect for 2 looking to have a quiet get away. Located near some amazing wineries and out favorite Weis Vineyards. Super clean and cozy. Cant wait to stay again!
This place is a wonderful getaway in a private area. In my opinion, it is better than what the pictures show. The heat pump works pretty well. It's very cozy, and has a good view with a large trail in the back (follow the driveway).
They have well water (no sulfur/bad smells/taste) and an in-line, instant water heater.
The bed is comfortable, and the TV is great for a late night movie. They have even have a guestbook with an origin story of the house! Our stay in Hammondsport was wonderful because of this place. I would recommend it. We were comfortable and having fun the whole time we were there.
Enjoyed an overnight stay with many thoughtful details and great layout. Would like to see a digital tv antenna for local channels (if available). Dvd basket was good. More board games would be great! Would prefer an earlier check in time especially with shorter daylight hours and possibly a tub with kindling for a fire.Thank you!
My husband and I enjoyed everything about this property! 10/10 and would certainly love to stay again. We were so close to keuka spring winery and Weis winery! We explored the path on the property that leads down to the lake. We had deer in the backyard at dusk and a peaceful fire pit in the evening. They’ve thought of everything to make this a perfectly peaceful retreat!
This tiny home was a wonderful stay for my husband, son and I. The location made it enjoyable and easy to visit many wineries. It was just a short drive into town when we wanted to grab dinner or explore. We love to cook, so the kitchen could have had a few more simple amenities, but for the size of the home-you couldn't beat what they packed into it. Also, the shower was nice and hot which is always a plus. Fire pit was awesome to enjoy in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!
Great little spot and super cozy. Had everything we needed for our long weekend visit. Close to the wine trails, some hiking, and a visit to both Watkins Glenn and Ithica.
We had a fire outside one evening and saw a few deer wandering around the property.
Easy access to get in and perfect size for the two of us. Would totally recommend.
We stayed at the Tiny house for a last minute get away. The house is located on a rural road secluded and very quiet. Very close to Hammondsport and Watkins Glen. Check-in was very easy. House was very clean and everything worked as it should. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen has everything that was needed to cook in. Doesn't have an oven or a toaster oven but has a toaster, microwave and cooktop. Shower is a bit tight if you are on the "larger" size. My husband is 6'1" 185 and I don't think you can go too much bigger.
We visited Watkins Glen which is one of the main reasons for our visit, but it was extremely busy for a Tuesday and that made it near impossible to appreciate the beauty of the Glen. We also hiked the entire Keuka Lake Outlet trail. Round trip about 13 miles. Hardly anyone on that trail and 2-3 waterfalls to see. We also hiked all the trails at Keuka Lake state Park on Thursday and had the entire park to ourselves!
All in all, great trip and wonderful stay at the Tiny House!
We like to thank Jason for his service!
Great little cabin in a private setting, perfect for a couples weekend away. Came stocked with all the amenities and close to the lake and wineries. We can’t wait to come back!
The tiny home was the perfect overnight stop for a break on our trip to Canada. We enjoyed exploring the area, Bully Hill Vineyards across the lake (and many more nearby), and relaxing with some movies and games at the house. Jason was communicative and made the check in and check out process so simple so that we could just relax. Already can't wait to come back!
We really enjoyed our two night stay, it’s the perfect space for a couple or family of 3. Easy to find, very clean and enjoyable. The weather was warm but you wouldn’t know it with the AC and ceiling fans. If you’d like to make a fire, there’s a great fire pit but you may want to bring a lighter and pick up some smaller fire wood, plenty of roadside options. There are larger logs available to use. 10 min out of Hammondsport.
Cannot say enough wonderful things about this tiny house. We had clean towels, a kitchen, cleaning supplies, and we left a few logs of wood for the fire pit that we didn't use. If you like privacy, this was perfect. Its almost as if you are out in the woods even though you are right next to the main road.
