Copper Cottage at Keyser Lake. Pet friendly, kayaks available!

Three bedroom home available, a great place for making memories. This home has access to Keyser Lake, NY. Kayaks and life jackets are available. Pets are welcome! We are located between Little Falls, NY and Dolgeville NY. We are located at the foothills of the Adirondacks, with just a thirty-minute drive to Utica. Centrally located between Syracuse and Albany NY. Cooperstown NY is also just a forty-five-minute drive! This home is also approximately four to five miles from Rustic Ties in Dolgeville and Beardslee Castle in Little Falls, both great wedding venues. There are two bedrooms on the first floor along with a full bath, the upstairs has the master bedroom with a king bed and full bath. The kitchen/dining/living area is an open floor plan, great for making those memories. The front porch has a seating area and a grill. The backyard has a fire pit with seating for some unwinding.

This house is a wonderful place for a getaway! The accommodations are very comfortable and the view is amazing. The hosts were great about communicating how to get to the rental to ensure there’s no confusion. I would recommend this stay.

Copper Kettle was perfect for our stay, very well decorated, great amenities, we loved our time there. Great beds, Awesome shower! Great TV for football fans.

Fall vacation

We loved the rental! Very clean and lots of space. We were very active seeing family in the area and exploring. Didn’t see much wildlife besides squirrels and chipmunks. Would love to rent again next time we are in the area. Thank you again.

Home away from home

We loved the open concept layout of the home and the view of the creek which leads out to the lake. The house was beautifully decorated, welcoming, and comfortable. The nearby town of Little Falls was so charming, an afternoon the Herkimer Diamond Mines as well, which was a lot of fun. Plenty to do in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to staying here again!

GREAT family trip!

Stayed for a long weekend but wish we could have stayed a LOT longer. Great home with everything you need for a little getaway. Beautiful and very quiet secluded area, beautiful stream to play or kayak to the lake. Good fire pit for some night time reading or s’more making. We had such a great time and will be back for a longer stay next year. Also, hosts are amazing and super friendly❤️

The property is very nice! Quiet and secluded! No issues at all! My son lives in the area - brought up family for birthday celebration. Definitely a nice property for our weekend stay.

Great getaway to the wilderness

I think the style of this place is what caused me to book it in the first place. The hosts were great and very eager to answer any questions or concerns I had. I would highly recommend booking this place if you enjoy the outdoors because it’s a great location to check out.

Great getaway!

The A frame cabin was a perfect choice for our visit with our friends. Separate floor bedrooms and bathrooms were great. We enjoyed a well stocked kitchen and any needed cleaning supplies were available. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard one evening.It is remote so be sure to have everything you need upon arrival.

Exceptional rental

Excellent cabin with everything we could need. Very spacious and quite relaxing. Centrally located for visiting family and the activities we wanted in the area. Too busy to use the kayaks but will allow more time in the future. Definitely plan to return.

We are a family four with children ages 11 and 4. This cabin was perfect we had a wonderful time. It was better than we ever imagined such a beautiful home decorated beautifully. The owners were extremely pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, I highly recommend this home

Beautiful and remote

This property is amazing and the hosts are gracious. The pictures do not do it justice! Very much enjoyed our stay! Home was clean and had basic amenities provided. Beautiful covered porch and a great space out back for fire and watching the river. Although we didn’t have time to kayak, that was a great added bonus option we wish we would have had time to enjoy. Highly recommend.

Metsger Lake Cottage

The house was perfect for our family get together. We loved sitting on the porch even in the rain. The owners have created a beautiful spot with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, great fire pit and spacious rooms. There was a power outage caused by a rain storm, but we were set up with s generator and kept comfortable throughout. Rachel and Frank are great hosts.

A wonderful find near Cooperstown.

Just 45 minutes from Cooperstown, this was a delightful place to call home for a couple of days. A large covered front porch with plenty of seating for our group made for an excellent spot to chill after a long day exploring Cooperstown and the surrounding area. It offered plenty of space for our family and was fully stocked to meet our needs in the kitchen. The hostess was a delight right from the time we booked and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. The setting on a small creek with kayaks available to navigate to the main lake satisfied our whole family need for nature and a swim. A great place to retreat to.

Awesome Location

We have been going on MC trips for 10+ years. The goal is always to find a nice house, that will allows us some privacy and also is close to great rides. This house was that and more. The owners were fantastic, locale was perfect for rides to Cooperstown and Lake Placid. House was great. Clean, 3 queen + beds…short kayak to the lake for a swim….. Do yourself a favor and stay here for your upstate NY MC trip… Oh….they had plenty of firewood for a great fire at night!

Best stay yet!

Copper Cottage is a stunning home. Each room is decorated beautifully. There was no shortage of towels and supplies. We fell in love with the couch! There is limited lodging in Little Falls that permits pets, and our dog felt at home immediately! Unfortunately, the weather did not permit us to use the backyard fire pit and explore the creek and environs, but we look forward to returning and doing that. But what the weather did allow us to enjoy was the view of an active creek, and the sounds of the creek lulled us to sleep. Rachael was quick to respond to any questions by email. Hope to return soon!

Fantastic getaway!

This was a wonderful property and we really enjoyed our time here. The home is beautifully decorated with quality furniture and unique pieces including a very cool collection of historic books that we appreciated. The bedrooms were all sizable and comfortably fit 2 adults each with plenty of extra room. Each bedroom had an AC unit which kept the whole house comfortable on hot days. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a few days and the two full bathrooms were comfortable and fully stocked. The fire pit area was very enjoyable and we appreciated the dry, seasoned, and finely split firewood supplied by the host. We also enjoyed our time using the four single kayaks they had available. Overall a fantastic stay, great location, and we would love to return.

Everything about this property was perfect. Serene and peaceful location with so much for the kids to do. Rachael and Frank were amazing hosts and made sure that everything was taken care of - They even reached out and invited us to join their family for a boat ride. Unfortunately, we were not available, but we look forward to going back again soon and taking them up on their offer. The cabin was perfect. It was very clean and incredibly comfortable. There were kayaks available for our use, which was an amazing added bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we easily prepared meals for our family. The kids absolutely loved making s’mores on the fire pit! We are hoping to spend a longer period of time there in the future!
