I booked this last minute for my teenage daughters, dog and myself. The location and house were perfect for us!
After arriving, the girls were checking the house out and discovered another male occupant in the basement. I messaged the host and he repAlied that it was just him. The girls felt

We needed a place to stay the weekend for my wife to run the Falmouth Road Race. This spot was perfect for us. Here are the positives: clean, spacious, comfortable, on quiet road but close to Routes 151 and 28. It also has a large yard ideal for kids and/or dogs (we brought our two dogs). Bill, the owner, was very communicative and accommodating. We weren't looking for a vacation house, e.g., close to the beach. Our priority was for a comfortable, quiet, home that would allow us to bring our dogs. We couldn't have made a better choice.
We had a lovely stay. This home is wonderful for families because it is spacious and the living room, dining room and kitchen are all in one open concept area so everyone can be together. The 3 bedrooms are large and the mattresses are comfy. There is a back deck to enjoy as well . The home has lots of games to play and the kitchen is well stocked. It even has a lobster pot! A car is needed but you are in close proximity to restaurants amd beaches.

Cape Cod Getaway
Prior to arriving, I asked what the check-in process was and was told by the owner that he would meet me in the driveway with the code. You can understand my confusion when I arrived and he was inside the house--I've never had this happen before. The owner was friendly and gave my son and I a tour of the house and then had me decide on the front door code before he left. Once he left, my son and I placed our belongings inside and were pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was--I often wipe down surfaces that I plan to use (i.e., remote, toilet, shower, etc.) and every surface was very clean! My son and I then left to grab some dinner and when we arrived back, we heard a dog barking and saw people outside of the property walking around. Thinking it was the neighbors, I didn't worry but when I saw them again the next morning I was confused as this time they entered the basement. I reached out to the owner to ask and that is when he let me know a family was staying downstairs. I wish this was made clear in the description of the house as I felt like I could not get comfortable the remainder of our stay. On a more positive note, the house was in a great location; it was nice being so close to the beach, a variety of restaurants and best of all, within 15 minutes of family we had not seen in some time. All in all, our stay was okay as we spent most of the time out and about exploring the surrounding towns and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Great place for our family of 4 and our dog. Bill was very responsive and available without being intrusive. We’ve been coming to Falmouth for 20+ years and learned about the Epic Oyster from his recommendation. We would definitely return to his place.
The home was beautiful! Bill prepared the house perfectly for my party and I. The home was close to the beach, stores, etc. I would recommend this home to anyone!
