About this property
Recharge on Long Lake
First time available for rental to the general public and on vrbo. This home has been rented by the same families during the summer for years.
This well-appointed cottage has a captivating view of Long Lake and a nearby island. Sunrises are spectacular. Sunsets throw colors into the clouds that will take your breath away. Pristine views from the kitchen, dining area, living room, sitting room, and back deck.
You'll enjoy a quick walk across the lush lawn to the dock, swimming area, and rock wall. Wave to the Songo River Queen as she makes her stately way up the lake. Listen to the solemn cries of the loons. Bring your snorkeling gear and get a closer look at the grasses and fish that play across the lake bed.
Long Lake is bookended by Harrison to the north, and Naples to the south, with up-and-coming Bridgton only a short drive away. All of these sweet little towns boast phenomenal restaurants, delectable ice cream spots, a range of beautiful hiking options, and an active night life. Spend a day antiquing and souvenir hunting. Take a yoga class, or a spa day. Make your way through the Songo Lock to a nature-filled beach on Sebago Lake. Travel forty minutes to North Conway, NH or Portland, ME for a day of city or mountain excursions. Activity information is provided.
The home showcases plenty of charm, with hardwood floors, a wood fireplace, and an open layout. There’s plenty of space for entertaining, watching a movie, playing games, and making the kinds of memories you’ll remember forever. The well-stocked kitchen is large and bright. The bedrooms are expansive, with enough room for everyone to have the space they need.
Included in your rental is use of the Adirondack chairs around beautiful outdoor spaces, a canoe, two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, firepit and yard games. Any additional equipment can be rented nearby.
The lake is calling, and you must go!
