We are located in a train depot setting with an active train that randomly still runs on no set schedule. Stone Run Station is in the heart of Braxton County with several lakes, parks, for outdoor activities, museum & historical places, Would you like to be a guest in our Vacation rentals, Stone Run Station - Caboose, (located in Flatwoods, WV) On the location of the Folklore of Flatwoods, WV Green Monster souvenirs and by booking on Vrbo. Piccadilly's vacation rentals has 2 available unit. We are in the geographic center of West Virginia, "Home of the Flatwoods Monster" & shopping outlet. Just, bring your personal belongings, your family or friends & enjoy all the beauty of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia! The "Caboose Imposter" has 2 separate entrances to 2 private bedrooms complete with blackout curtains, each bedroom has a private bath. Want to save on your vacation? A fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals and snacks, as well as a living room with a fireplace and extra sleeping accommodations. All you need is your personal items and the family/company. All basic needs are supplied. There is an active train with a random schedule passing thru the property, several lakes, walking and bike trails, motorcycle routes, ongoing car shows when weather permits and Home of the Flatwoods Monster and we are near our Flatwoods Monster Museum, Bigfoot museum. and near by Weston Lunatic Asylum within a mile of the interstate exit convenient for shopping and dining.

Awesome Unique and Quaint

My family and I loved staying at the Train Caboose Impostor. The moment we walked it we loved it. Plenty of room for us all and it was so welcoming and comfortable. Very convenient to local establishments. Hostess Debra was so kind and sweet. We will certainly be back again.. We will certainly be ba k. accomadating

I loved it here. The imposter caboose was comfortable, quiet and clean. Debra, the host, checked in on me just after I got there and we ended chatting on the porch for over an hour. Great stay! Can't wait to get back there.

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
Pictures were not accurate or done years previously. Full of dust on furniture and floors and difficult with asthma. Beds were clean. Shower/tub were not. Very cluttered with unnecessary bric-brac including a hutch in living area making less seating. Fully equipped kitchen. Area unsafe. No Wifi and cable tv went out. Hostess very nice, personable,and available.
