About this property
Berkshires Lakefront Gem. Cozy home w/ hiking, swimming & all things cultural!
The perfect getaway for people who want to unwind from the grind of everyday life. Little Robin Lake is located right in the backyard! Swim, kayak or canoe directly from the private beach and dock. Hiking, dining and all the culture that the Berkshires has to offer are nearby. Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Lee Premium Outlets and many unique restaurants are in close proximity. Sherwood Shoppe is a friendly country store in our neighborhood.
This is a private, cozy, year-round lake house. Dine in the screened in porch or on the brick patio with full lake view, is a delight! Soak up the sunshine during the daytime, and then enjoy the night sky for stargazing. This home has an open concept living room/kitchen area with 2 sliding glass doors leading to the porch. Each room has a TV and there is fiber optic WiFi throughout the house, reaching the outside areas.
There is a comfortable finished room in the lower level, with a work space and a walkout to the lower deck and lake.
Outdoor and indoor games are available, such as cornhole, Kan Jam, monopoly, checkers, and chess. The home is located on a freshwater lake with a floating dock. A canoe and kayak are available for your use with paddles and life vests. A dip in the lake, right from the backyard or dock, is incredibly refreshing. We have plenty of noodles to float with and chairs to sit on!
Watch the sunset from the dock or from our swinging chair for two.
You'll find that everything you need is here!
You will have access to the entire house, except for the garage and partial basement, which we use for storage.

About the host
Hosted by Bill Eisenberg

We (Sue & Bill) are native New Englanders who love nature and the outdoors. We work hard and play hard. When it's time to relax, we spend time at our Becket "slice of heaven". We enjoy hiking, swimming, boating and exploring. When Bill is not outside, you can find him playing the drums or listening to the Allman Brothers. Sue can be found curled up with a nice book or in an aerobic dance class.
Bill meets all our guests personally, so he can answer any questions, and know that our home is personally cared for.

Why they chose this property
We chose to purchase our lakefront home in Sherwood Forest with Little Robin Lake for a number of reasons. First of all, nature is untouched there, and there are plenty of areas to explore. We love stargazing at night and watching the sunsets. Little Robin is fresh water, which means it's always moving. Motor boats are not allowed on Little Robin, which is an added plus; it's always quiet and safe to swim in.
What makes this property unique
The best part about our property, is that you can just walk out the back door and into the lake. There are no barriers between you and the lake - just grass! Also, the home was designed and built by an engineer who made sure it was solid and quiet. It is the perfect getaway, if you want to relax in peace!
