Cute little bungalow for spouse and myself and stayed 3 nights for the Glacier NP leg of our trip. It was around a 20 minute drive to Glacier NP. We enjoyed being greeted every morning by the neighborhood cats when we walked to the River Edge Park path. Home was conveniently located near grocery store, gas stations, and coffee shops. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
It was convenient to West Glacier entrance, grocery store, and to restaurants. The place was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The grill was also great - we ate outside every night. We would recommend this place and would stay here again when visiting the area.
Very Clean and peaceful property, neighbors were very friendly and many talked to us and waved. Close to town and a little park to go for a nice short walk. Not far from Glacier National Park
Lovely base for Glacier National Park exploration!
We enjoyed our time at the house, which was right next to a neighborhood park with great walking paths. We spent a week enjoying Glacier National Park. It is about a 25 minute drive to the Apgar Visitor Center and the start of the Going-To-The-Sun road.
The house is well set up for a couple and had everything we needed.
Loved our time here, they had everything we needed to make our stay excellent. The kitchen was well outfitted, the grill in great shape. Loved the neighborhood and how clean and well kept the space was!

Great location for GNP and Whitefish exploration!
Listing is accurate. Very comfortable and clean house for base camp exploration. The 2 of us felt at home and well treated by owners. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. The house is cute and in a great quiet neighborhood. It’s location is close to the Glacier National Park. The hosts are readily available and check to see if you need anything.
We truly had the best time in Montana. This house is great for dogs, the backyard is perfect. We walked to the house/river and walked to the downtown area for drinks/food. I even walked to the Yoga Hive classes for the week we stayed. It's pretty close to Glacier, you'll have to drive unless you stay in the park. It's in the middle to Flathead Lake (our winner of the trip to swim in the Summer). And close to Whitefish which has cute shopping and restaurants. The hosts were responsive and the house was well stocked. Enjoy your Montana adventure at a home away from home!
My husband, myself and our pup stayed at this property for a vacation in the mountains. This cozy cabin was clean and quiet. It was located within walking distance to some great trails to walk through by the river. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The owners were easy to reach and left lots recommendations for local places to eat and things to do.
Would highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable
My husband and our two friends stayed here on our visit to Glacier NP. After camping for a few days prior, this place seemed like the Ritz. We were happy to have a well-stocked kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds to sleep in, a washer and dryer to do our laundry and a HOT SHOWER. I would be happy to return here on my next trip to Glacier.
Had fun. Only issue was broken TV remote. Everything else was great.

Glacier Getaway
My husband and I had a great Glacier visit and this bungalow made the trip that much better. We were thrilled to find the property in great condition, clean, and had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, the kitchen had every utensil we could ask for, there were plenty of towels, the bed was comfy and the house was just the right size. We enjoyed using the BBQ and relaxing on the deck after a day of hiking in Glacier. If you're a couple looking for a comfy quiet spot to base your trip from, then this fits the bill.

Very Charming Cottage
What a lovely cottage! Looks just as good as the pictures. Especially after we had stayed in motels for 2 weeks, this was a totally welcome change. Very comfortable after a long day at Glacier Park. How nice to be able to do laundry and cook on the grill. Wish we could have stayed longer! We also enjoyed exploring Columbia Falls and surrounding area a bit. The proximity to Glacier was perfect. Definitely recommend this property. One suggestion - provide a listing of TV channels. It was tough to figure out what was what.
First I'd like to say I REALLY appreciate properties that allow pets. This one has a fully fenced back yard which was fantastic for our dog. The location is convenient to necessary shopping and to Glacier. There's a nice city park across the street. Still, I would not stay at this property again because the home has a very musty smell in it. So strong that I could smell it coming out the screen door when sitting on the deck. I know I have a very sensitive sense of smell and clearly many people either can't smell it or are not bothered by it based on all the reviews I read before renting it. Other reviews mentioned the bed. Nothing appears to have changed with that. It's uncomfortable and very noisy. The pillows are hard and flat. We actually left a day early because of these issues.

Good base from which to explore Glacier National Park
This was a mostly comfortable and convenient place to stay. The 15-20 minute drive to Glacier was no big deal, and the property is convenient to a number of restaurants and grocery stores.
We liked the well stocked kitchen and the small deck that looks onto a fenced in back yard.
Two complaints: 1. The bed /mattress was perhaps THE worst we have ever slept on. Truly awful. Please replace.
2. Check out procedures demanded that we mop, vacuum and whole list of crap. We've stayed in a number of VRBO properties. Sure, you often have to take out the garbage, put the sheets and towels in a pile to be washed, whatever. We felt like this was kind of over the top. What are we paying you for? You want us to mow the lawn and do your taxes too?
Overall, our experience here was positive. Outside of the check out procedures, we would consider staying there again.
Property was exactly as described. Proximity to Glacier was great! It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. The only recommendation we have is to update the bed and pillows. Backslope Brweing and North Fork Pizza were great options for food!
Our experience overall was fantastic!! The home we stayed in was super clean and the host was very responsive. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing trip.
Comfortably Convenient to Glacier NP and Whitefish
Clean updated interior was small but perfect size for 2 adults and our dog. Well stocked with necessities made our stay easy. Short drive to hikes in Whitefish area and GNP. Fenced in back yard and steps away from a park was great for the dog. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay again!
This little bungalow was the perfect retreat for my husband and I while we toured Glacier. Kristi was the perfect host with everything in place for us, we really appreciated not having to worry about anything. Her husband came by to check on us and he gave us a few great tips on hikes that he recommended and encouraged the boat tour ; we took his advice and it was fantastic - so glad we went (St. Mary's Lake). The neighborhood is quiet and safe and only 25 minutes to the entrance to Glacier. The town of Columbia Falls is very cute with many restaurants to enjoy. We ate twice at the Mexican restaurant and enjoyed great food and margarita's! We are GF and we were surprised to find a local pizza place that served GF pizza and it was really good. One night we wanted a home cooked meal so we used the grill and sat out on the deck and ate. Highly recommend this VRBO.
Property was nice and as described. Owners were responsive and communicative. Only gave a 4 because there were some wasp nests I informed them about that didn’t get taken care of by the owners and I had to do it myself.
Close to glacier, whitefish, local trails and amenities.

About the host
Hosted by Kristi Hatfield
My Husband and I both grew up in the Flathead Valley, and moved back after our college education to raise a family in Columbia Falls. We enjoy getting out and exploring this beautiful place we live every chance we get.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property to provide visitors to the Flathead a quiet and peaceful place to stay that is close to nature and centrally located to the airport, train station and Glacier Park. Columbia Falls is a friendly community and the Gateway to Glacier.
What makes this property unique
We are outdoor enthusiasts and happy to share our favorite places to visit and explore- whether it be bird watching, fishing or hiking in the Park and nearby National Forest trails.
