PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Ours is the most spacious floor plan at Hali’i Kai with 1677 square feet, 1930 square feet if include the two lanais. This is a two-story Townhome with the entrance on the second floor, no elevator.
You will enjoy our newly remodeled condo with One-Of-The-Kind Peru Travertine floor, Elegant-Beachy-Color scheme, and many new appliances (update photos coming soon). Our three bedrooms are well separated for privacy,1 downstairs and 2 upstairs, three bathrooms, an open concept great room with living room, dining area, kitchen and two covered lanais, one on each floor.
The gourmet kitchen is finished with tiled backsplash, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and African mahogany cabinets. The kitchen opens up to the dining and living area, making the space ideal for cooking and conversing. There are 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter and a dining table that seats six. The outdoor lanai of the dining room has an additional table for four and a gas BBQ.
The great room is furnished with an extremely comfortable L-shaped couch, a large chair, TV and a Bose Bluetooth sound system.
The upstairs master boasts a king-sized bed and its own private lanai with two chaise lounges. The ensuite master bath has dual sinks, a large soaking tub and a glass enclosed shower. There are shutters over the bathtub that open into the bedroom which allows for the outside light to filter in while you soak the day away. The additional bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds. The 3rd bedroom is located on the bottom floor and has a queen bed. Please note that the bottom floor of our townhouse is actually the second floor of a building with NO elevator.
We have our own spacious laundry room with washer and dryer, and just about everything that you often want in the comfort of your own home.
Our townhouse is in the Coconut Grove section of the community, near the tennis court, and the basketball half-court.
PARKING: 20G has ONE-car garage that can fit a compact car, where we store 4 bicycles and our beach gear; and one reserved parking space outside. There are also open visitor parking spaces within 50 yards of the front door.
HALI’I KAI DESCRIPTION: Built on 29 acres of securely gated manicured landscape, Hali’i Kai is a Premier condo communities in Waikoloa Beach Resort and is the only one that is truly oceanfront. The list of amenities is long, but Hali’i Kai is probably best known for its private Ocean Club Pavilion. Come and see the children’s wading pool, dig your feet in the sand-bottom Jacuzzi, relax in the multi-level lagoon-style black-bottom pool, enjoy the poolside meals, snacks, and cocktails served by the Ocean Club Grill & Bar, a restaurant that is exclusive to the residents and guests of Hali’i Kai. Work out in the oceanfront clifftop fitness cabana while enjoying the island breeze and the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.
From this Ocean Club, you can observe dolphins frolicking year-round, and humpback whales splashing up close offshore during the months of December through April (sometimes as early as October and November.) On this same clifftop, the sunset view is sublime and the sound of waves crashing against the lava rock is intoxicatingly soothing.
DESCRIPTION OF WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT: Waikoloa Beach Resort is world-famous and it offers just about everything that you would need to make your vacation extraordinary. There are two fabulous golf courses. The Hilton and Marriott are both within the resort and each has many things to offer.
There is no shortage of spas or restaurants, fine-dining or casual. The Queen’s Marketplace and King’s shop offer the two largest shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences on the Kohala coast. At the Queen’s Marketplace, you can find all your groceries and beverages. They even have a gourmet market where you can find meals that are ready-made. Behind the Marriott, you’ll find the Lava Lava Beach Club and Anaehoomalu Bay (better known as A-Bay), a beautiful crescent shaped public beach that offers many ocean sports for the whole family.
Within a few minutes' drive, you can enjoy the world-famous beaches such as Hapuna and Mauna Kea, or the less known and more secluded 69 Beach, a favorite of the local. The list of things to do is endless.
NO SMOKING policy: Our villa and Hali'i Kai community are strictly NON-SMOKING properties.
SECURITY CAMERA: For the security of our home and community, a video doorbell is installed at the front door. Access to recorded footage will be limited to the property manager and only used for security purposes, such as investigating incidents or potential criminal activity.
TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended, NO REFUND will be given for reasons outside of our control.
FEES YOU WILL PAY SEPARATELY - NOT OUR FEES:
1. HALI'I KAI RESORT FEE: $25 per day, per condo, NOT per guest. RESORT FEE is NOT included in our nightly rate because it is NOT our charge. You will pay to Hali'i Kai Resort office directly and the fee amount is SUBJECT TO CHANGE without notice.
2. VRBO/HomeAway "TRAVELER SERVICE FEE": Pay at booking, please REFER TO ONLINE QUOTE for the amount. Again, this fee is NOT included in our Rental Agreement because it is NOT our charge. This charge is imposed by VRBO/HomeAway on all renters who use their website.
OTHER FEES:
1. INTERIM CLEANING FEES: $225.00 each, required every 7 nights for 15 nights or longer stay.
2. DAILY CLEANING (upon request): $165.00 each.
3. EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT: $200.00 each for reservations of 7 nights or longer. One night fee for reservations less than 7 nights.
BOOKING PROCEDURE: To finalize any reservation, we require (1) payment, (2) copy of your fully executed RENTAL AGREEMENT including credit card authorization and (3) a copy of your GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID.
HOW TO BOOK:
1. If you send us a "Booking Request": VRBO allows 24 hours for the owner to approve. We will send you the rental agreement prepared specifically for your dates, we will try to approve your request within the permit window and your credit card will be charged. The final confirmation of your booking is still pending on the return of your required documents.
2. "Inquiry": If you have more questions or need more time to review and return the rental agreement, please send us an inquiry, we will send you a rental agreement specifically prepared for your dates. You will have more time to return the documents and make the payment. Rental rates and fees are subject to change.

House rules:
1. To finalize any reservation, we require payment, copy of your fully executed RENTAL AGREEMENT and a copy of your GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID.
2. The primary renter minimum age requirement is 25.
3. NO SMOKING in any form, of any kind, inside our unit, in the lanai or outside, anywhere within the Resort. Extra fees may apply to compensate for deep cleaning and/or deodorizing caused by smoking or pets, plus loss of rent income if any.
4. Re-arranging the furniture is NOT permitted. We strongly urge that our guests NOT MOVING beds or furniture around. More importantly, we don't want our guests to get hurt in the process.
5. As a courtesy for our guests, please return beach gear and bikes to garage, rinse free of sand.
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY:
We do not charge a credit card processing fee to book our condo, and we hope you will not need to cancel your reservations. However, if you must cancel, the merchant may charge again for processing the refunds. Therefore, the CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
Payment schedule: 50% due at booking and 50% due 90 days prior to arrival date.
For reservations less than 28 nights:
Cancellation at least 60 days prior to arrival date: We will refund the PAID amount, LESS credit card fee.
Cancellation at least 30 days prior to arrival date: We will refund 50% of the FULL RESERVATION amount, LESS credit card fee. NO refund if the reservation is not paid for in full.
Cancellation LESS than 30 days: NO refund, NO credit.
