About this property

Log Cabin in the Woods

2 Bedroom log cabin in the middle of the Hiawatha National Forest. Outside adventures await from hiking trails, mountain bike trails, ATV trails, fishing, kayaking, waterfalls, all within a 20-30 minute drive from the cabin. The original cabin was built in 1933 with many additions over the years. We purchased the property a little over a year ago and have done a complete remodel. New kitchen with appliances, new flooring throughout, new furniture, and new metal roof.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was wonderful. Very spacious and cozy. The back deck was great for viewing the stars and Aurora. It's located very close to many trails. Will definitely be back.

Great booking!

The property was perfect for our long weekend adventure. Great location and not one bit disappointed. The home was equipped with everything we needed to make and serve meals. All the kitchen appliances were top notch. The home was well maintained and clean and set up for a successful stay! stay.

This is out first vacation rental, we love the area and have been listing the area for over 15 years.

Why they chose this property

We bought the property because we have been going up to the area for 15 years. Mainly snowmobiling in the winter, but love the UP any time of year.

What makes this property unique

This cabin is has lots of privacy, about 15-20 minutes to drive to Munising but it's seclusion is worth the drive. 5 minutes to the Buckhorn Restaurant which we highly recommend.
