Trip with daughter's family like we took with her.
Great location for seeing the sights around Mt. Rushmore and a day trip to Devil's Tower.
It was very clean and beautifully decorated. We wish we had had time to enjoy the fire pit and back deck.
Great for families.
This house is in the perfect location and it was great for our group of 5. Great communication with the owner. We would definitely stay here again. Waking up to a deer and twin babies in the yard was a special treat!
The house was great for our combined family. The amenities were amazing. Everything you may need is supplied, including extras like games, brochures & condiments. It was a cute, comfortable house to spend family time in. It was a little further from main st. than we thought & the steps needed a rail. Overall its a great place to stay.
The place was super clean and in a fantastic location. Beds are super comfortable and a very nice shower. I would recommend it to everyone. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Checking out is the easiest I have ever done a VRBO.
We enjoyed our stay as a family of five. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for us all. The property had great amenities, too. There were kids toys, big dining room, cooking appliance/pans/etc. The home had everything we needed. Also, the location was close to stores, restaurants, and local businesses. Lastly, the Custer park pass was an awesome addition. We would recommend.
This house is definitely charming, clean, updated, and inviting. My wife and I take her mom, my mom, and our 2 children on vacation each year. This house was perfect for our group. We each had our own space, and everyone was comfortable. Everything was clean and organized.
Our hostess, Lindsey, was quick to respond with information and provided recommendations for excursions and restaurants in the area. The home is within walking distance to gas stations, restaurants, and shops, yet far enough out of the way that you're not dealing with that traffic at the home.
We will definitely be booking again the next time we visit SD.
We had a wonderful stay, family of 6 with 4 kids 19-9yo. Easy walk into Custer to explore bakeries, restaurants, and markets which made it convenient when we'd stop at the "home base" between sites or after a long day. Plan to pack a cooler of food and drinks and spend a whole day at the Badlands. So many great spots to picnic. Once there the kids wanted to explore and hike more than we expected. Rushmore is close.
We enjoyed exploring the entire site after watching the history of the build. Custer State Park is just down the road and kids enjoyed the hikes and swimming. We also visited the Mammoth Site and enjoyed the drive back through Wind Cave National Park (cave tours closed for elevator repairs). The house was clean and slept all of us comfortably. I wish we had 1 more day to rent side by side RZRs withing walking distance in Custer to explore the parks. Lindsey was great and very responsive. Highly recommend for any family exploring the area.
