Judge's Mountain Cabin
New Listing - Walk to Clayton
You will not want to leave this cabin, so cozy and quiet yet close to everything. Built by Supreme Court Justice Judge Logan Bleckley on Screamer Mountain in the mid 1800's, see photos and remained in the Bleckley family until 2022 when it was completely restored back to as original as possible. It is situated on 11 acres, so plenty of room for hiking up the mountain and be sure to stop and see the old clay tennis court he built for he and his wife. Also only a 5 min walk to downtown Clayton.

Amazing property. The location to downtown Clayton is perfect for shopping and dining. My family and I enjoyed the house and property. Only 45 minutes away from the Highlands as well. Many hiking trails very close as well.
Really enjoyed our stay here. It is extremely close to Clayton, but at the same time seems very private. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, but manages to keep the feeling of a beautiful old cabin. Definitely recommend for a Clayton getaway!
My family stayed here over a long weekend and had a wonderful time! Right in town, but easy access to rivers to fish. Near nice restaurants, antique stores, etc. A few minutes from downtown Clayton! Would recommend!
We loved the cabin. It was rustic and very charming. We wished the seating would have been where the 4 of us could all sit comfortable together. There is a love seat and 2 straight back chairs in one area and the other has a sofa and a bench. The only other problem we had was evidence of a mouse in the kitchen and upstairs on one of the beds.
We loved this adorable restored cabin! Check in was really easy and the cabin had everything we needed! Loved the giant fireplace! Only thing we didn’t like was the property had some fill dirt and there was trash and pieces of glass in the yard. No bare feet in this yard!
Absolutely loved the cabin. Best way to describe it... fancy rustic. Plenty of room, beautifully decorated. Maybe 5 minutes from the beautiful city of Clayton, but very secluded. Pictures of cabin were accurate. Communication with owner was great, very responsive in a timely manner. Certainly would like to stay here again. 4 twin beds in loft area with bathroom was perfect for granddaughters, and 2 bedrooms on main level, perfect for my grandson and myself. We each had our own bathroom. Very relaxing wrap around porch. Really enjoyed our stay
