About this property
Villa Markiza - Summer House by the River, at the National Park Central Balkan
Villa Markiza is located 5 km from Kalofer, in the locality of Byala Reka (White River), at the entrance of the National Park Central Balkan.
Located on the banks of river Byala Reka (White River), near the most picturesque eco-trail in Bulgaria and far from the city noise - we can be the perfect place for a family with children or couples looking for peace and quiet to relax.
You can enjoy hiking in the National Park or have a picnic on the river just across our yard, or have a walk to the nearby monasteries.
The villa is two and a half stories high and is situated on the lower part of an acre and a half property with garden and river views. At the top of the property, separated by a fence, is the summer house of the hosts, with a separate entrance.
Villa Markiza has a kitchen, two standard double bedrooms, an attic room and a bathroom and toilet.
The kitchen is located on the first floor and is equipped with everything you need to prepare food: cooking utensils, built-in oven, gas stove, refrigerator. There is a wood-burning fireplace, which is also the only source of heat in the room, a small dining area and a sofa.
External stairs lead to the bedrooms on the second floor, with a shared terrace and views of the meadow. The master bedroom has a king size double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables and overlooks the garden. On the same floor there is a second, smaller bedroom, furnished with two single beds, a wardrobe and bedside tables, suitable for children. Both bedrooms are heated by convector radiators.
The attic room is spacious, despite the pitched ceiling, with two single beds, a small wardrobe and an armchair. It is also reachable by external stairs, but from the back of the villa. All kids love it! The heating during cooler days is with a convector radiator.
The bathroom and the toilet are located in a separate room, on an intermediate floor, equidistant from the kitchen and bedrooms. The space has a dressing room with a large sink and washing machine, a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. The space has no warm connection with the bedrooms or the kitchen.
A lovely, well kept garden surrounds the entire house. Guests have at their disposal 2 barbecues with covered dining areas, a hammock and a children's wooden house.
