Short term rentals are a hot political topic in our community and the county aggressively regulates and monitors vacation rentals. Here are their rules, which we must strictly follow, or we will lose our permit:
-Maximum occupancy: 10 Guests.
-The principal renter must be 30 years or older, a photo copy of the driver's license verifying the renter's age is required. .
-New county regulations limit parking to 2 vehicles in the driveway and one vehicle in the garage. Street parking is strictly prohibited. Parking permits are provided by the owner and must be displayed on the dashboard. Failure to follow parking rules can result in a $500 fine to the driver of the vehicle.
-Quiet hours are designated between 9:00PM-8:00AM. There are permanent residents who live near the home and noise needs to be kept to a reasonable level. Loud music, parties, or other activities that disturb the peacefulness of the residential neighborhood are not allowed.
-There are two containers in the Bear Box for garbage. All trash must be bagged, tied tightly, and deposited in the trash cans of the Bear Box. No overflowing trash: garbage must be level with cans
-No Bachelorette OR Bachelor Parties, nor Retreats OR Weddings per VHR Short-Term Vacation Rental 2017 Ordinance
