Winter Getaway
The property was a good location and nice facilities. The property management was disappointing from day 1 prior to arrival.The day before check-in no lock box code or check in information had been received in either app or email (spam was checked verified); a message was sent to the host; no reply received, and prior comm was est. Day of check; a saturday around 2pm, no one was onsite in office. No response on App from message sent 24hrs prior, no one picking up office phone (left message), no lights or noticable activity in the office. Ended up staying (2) nights at an extra expense because even after 48 hrs no response via app or able to contact any one in person. Finally day 3, on a monday the office opened. Lady at office insisted she was in the office on Saturday and was rude when we questioned the no communication and extra expense we incrued. When we asked for a refund of the (2) nights at a different location she rudely suggested we can get a total refund of the trip (so we drove from ohio to stay for 31 days and that was her resolution?? be shelterless) We decided to not let this ruin our stay, and went to our room; not the cleanest w/ hairs not swept/wiped, no utensils, plates, trash bags, or any daily necessities; not sure maybe we missed that in the description. But unacceptable was the fact that the shower curtain was too short which caused water hazzard on bathroom floor; reported this to maintenance and it was NOT resolved during our 30 day stay.
