This historic, fully remodeled, 1852 church is a super rare and unique place to enjoy a beach vacation. The extra large sleeping area, complete with crystal chandaliers, has 2 king size beds, desk, seating area and a 55 inch TV. The linvingroom has 2 full size leather sofas and a comfortable chair, smart 55 inch TV and open kitchen. The kitchen has a dining table that seats 8 people and Full size appliances along with everything you would need to cook a full meal. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a TV. The Large bathroom has a shower, soaking tub, and double vanity. This is a once in a lifetime chance to stay in the most historic church in Rockport, Texas.

Always a good time

This place never disappoints, it’s located off the road but yet very quiet. Grounds are well kept, close to the Rockport Beach area and Market days when that takes place. Very peaceful place and never have had an issue.

A lovely experience!

This rental experience was amazing! We were so surprised and completely overwhelmed with how amazing the property is. It is actually inside of an old historic church building. I didn’t really catch that when I made the rental reservation. We walked in into this amazing space; large, tastefully decorated, and just amazing. You have to see it!there was everything we needed. The kitchen was definitely an upgraded experience as well. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed a lovely two nights and were able to visit Rockport and got lucky with the weather!.

Great family location

My stay here was awesome. I rented this for my family. When we walked in they were amazed. The features were so modern. It had a nice huge fridge and freezer and a drink cooler.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin no. 8 is the main part of a converted historic church.. The combined kitchen/dining/living/bed room is enormous and very charming, with lots of original features. The bathroom is luxurious with separate soaker tub and shower. The place is beautifully decorated with luxury furnishings and a very well-equipped kitchen. Note: it’s an urban area. Though generally a quiet area, a row of street lights shines brightly all night long, directly into the main bedroom.

The secret will soon be out ! These cottages are a hidden gem for sure ! Whether traveling alone or with a group they definitely can accommodate your needs and far meet any expectations! This is the 3rd time we stay and each time gets better and better !

Gorgeous and Peaceful

This converted chapel to guest house is so unique. Located close to Rockport downtown area and marina, it was fun to walk and ride our bikes all around the area. It is beautiful and was extremely peaceful with everything we needed.
