House did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were tumbleweeds of dog hair and cobwebs. Only one bedroom has air conditioning. TV channels are very limited. The microwave is in poor condition, and does not look safe to use. There are no oven pans or foil, so the regular oven cannot be used. Although the house is "on the water", there is no way to access it. The backyard slope is extremely steep and dangerous to attempt to climb down. Also, the dock is in disrepair, and consists of a frame with a few wooden planks.

I live in MA and have been going to Island Pond for years. I’ve always enjoyed the quiet surroundings, pristine views and crystal clear water. I bought the home to be able to enjoy the area and to rent it out to others so they can enjoy the best parts of Island Pond without the hassle of ownership. I am always available for vacation ideas so that you can get the most out of your stay and enjoy the best things to do in the area.

Why they chose this property

I have been going on to Island Pond for many years and found this to be the best location on the lake. It is very quiet and the lake bottom is mostly sandy and the slope into the lake is perfect. There is no overgrowth of weeds in the water and you get a perfect sunrise. I rented here in the past and when it came up for sale I bought it!
