Check in troubles

GPS coordinates to address were wrong and no physical address was shared just a picture with name of the condo. It was VERY difficult to find. Lock box was jammed and had to call for assist which arrived very quickly to help. Jonathon was very kind. Plumbing concerns have not been fixed. However the rooms are cozy and comfortable. We made it work since we only stayed 2 nights

Good news first….

The location was perfect, the unit was clean and tastefully decorated, looks exactly as advertised. However, there were a few hiccups. The dishwasher was not operational, nor was the upstairs guest toilet. No hot water in the downstairs shower, no cold water in the upstairs guest shower. We made it work, but it kept us from giving 5 stars.

No communication

Did not receive information to check in. Tried communicating with the property manager the day before with no answer. Tried again communicating for 8 hours on check in day also with no response on phone call or message. Vrbo also tried contacting them with also no luck. Had to rent last minute hotel at midnight .

Expérience décevante avec cette location via Vrbo

J’ai réservé cette villa pour 20 nuits, mais à mon arrivée, l’emplacement ne correspondait pas à l’annonce. Après ma réclamation, la localisation a été modifiée, ajoutant à la confusion. J’ai fourni des preuves à Vrbo, sans retour concret.Le logement présentait plusieurs problèmes majeurs :- Travaux de construction dès 6h du matin, nuisances constantes.- Climatisation du salon hors service pendant 3 jours, séjour difficile sous des températures élevées.- Menuiseries vétustes, laissant passer le bruit et l’humidité.Au 9ᵉ jour, coupure totale d’eau et d’électricité, rendant le logement inhabitable : pas de clim, impossible de cuisiner, se laver ou utiliser les toilettes. Quand je suis revenu le lendemain pour récupérer mes affaires et rendre les clés, il n’y avait toujours ni eau ni électricité.J’ai dû trouver un hébergement en urgence, deux fois plus cher en raison de la haute saison et de qualité bien inférieure (deux chambres d’hôtel au lieu d’une villa). Vrbo refuse toute indemnisation, bien que j’aie suivi leurs directives pour la nouvelle réservation.Après validation d’un remboursement partiel, la facture de ma réservation initiale a été modifiée, changeant le montant total affiché. J’ai signalé cette situation avec preuves à l’appui, mais aucune action concrète n’a été prise.Vrbo tente de clore mon dossier, mais je refuse. Aucune assistance, aucun soutien, aucune prise de responsabilité.
