My son and I spent some time away here to get away from the city. Host was incredible. There is a cute pond on the property that my son could fish at. Close proximity to multiple state parks.
It was just as described. The camper was very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. Gay Anna was very kind and provided us with lot of amenities. She was prompt in communication and clearly put it extra effort to make this trip for my husband and I.
The network coverage was q minus but we thought it is actually a plus to just disconnect, reset and relax.
Planning to go there again and again.
Absolutely adorable little camper in a quiet secluded setting was just perfect for a couple of days for me and my husband. The sweet host went over and above providing special touches like firewood for the fire pit, fishing poles and bait for the pond, fresh milk, muffins and cookies, bug spray, etc. and then gave us all the privacy we wanted for the rest of our stay. Don’t miss out on using the optional outdoor shower - fun! This was a great base for hiking and exploring a few of the shut- ins in the area like Pink Rock and Millstream Gardens Conservation area. If you have time, check out The Station at Sawyers Landing in Fredericktown for coffee/smoothies/breakfast/lunch/ice cream - fun place to sip and chill.
Our favorite part of this experience was this adorable camper. Every last detail was so cute! It's very cozy. It was cold at night, but the heater worked fine, and Gay Ann had nice cozy blankets. My husband is 6'2" and he fit (in the bed and being able to stand), but barely. The bed was pretty tight for two people, but there is another bed as an option. We did fine in one bed, but for muitliple nights...I dunno! There are hiking trails and a cute pond. Be sure to take your coffee over to the pond and sit in the Adirondack chairs in the morning. I wish we would have thought of that! We didn't try the chairs until we were getting ready to leave! Gay Ann provided muffins, grapes, OJ, tea. And then brought over milk and warm cookies in the evening. She was really nice to talk to and told us all about the history of the camper. I loved all the little decorative details. There was also microwave popcon. We sat in the camper and read and drank tea and coffee. This is located about 30-40 minutes from both Elephant Rocks State Park and Johnson's Shut-ins State Park. Check out both!!! Very cool.
