The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts:
- The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do.
- The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site.
- In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden chair and reach for buttons on the top which you can't actually see unless you are 6'4"+. Terrible setup.
Illegal Construction junkyard near a national park
Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that it’s somewhat close to a lovely park. Overall I could not more strongly recommend that you avoid this listing.

South harbor
The day of our arrival there was no communication with property owner . When we arrived he was there . He said he had messaged me with checkin instructions but I still do not have any messages . We knew that the property was going to be basically a shed with a portapotty and an outside shower . Entered the shed which was very basic . Bedding was clean and there was clean towels . Other than 2 light fixtures and a chair that was all that was in cabin. WiFi worked well. Outside of shed was very dirty and clustered .
The big problem was the shower and portapotty. The portapotty was unusable . It was completely full . I mean to the top. It was very disgusting . The shower in the pictures looks clean with pretty wood , not so much in person . It drained into plain wooden slates that didn’t appear to be treated. And a dirty wash cloth hanging in shower . Which makes me believe that there is no cleaning between tenants. I reached out to property owner about the portapotty, he seemed very surprised . Which also lead me to believe that there was no cleaning between tenants . He did get the toilet cleaned out the next morning . But at this point we decided to stay else where. For our final night .
He did give us a lot of places to check out while we were in the area .
