We had a great stay at this cozy cottage. It's rustic and relaxing. it's far enough from the noise, but a quick walk or bike ride into town. Beautiful yard to relax in too.
I loved my stay here. It is as much an experience to stay here as it is a place to stay. It’s how I imagine an artist’s rustic dune shack, but with many creature comforts. I highly recommend it. The location is a short bike ride to anything, and being “away from it all” while still “close to it all” made it the best of both worlds.
What a great little private cottage with lots of extra touches that round out the whole experience. If you are a dog owner there was a super easy semi enclosed space for them to do their business. We enjoyed our stay very much but if you want to be in the center of the action this might not be the place for you.
The cottage was everything we needed and wanted. We loved the cottage's vibe and the location was perfect (quiet with an easy walk into town and pedicab home on those days we were tapped out on walking). We loved making meals in the kitchen or on the grill. The bonus was Billy, the world's best caretaker. Thanks for spoiling us and making our vacation even more special.
We had planned to spent time in town shopping and eating out, but the cabin was so adorable, and Billy was such an amazing host that we found ourselves not wanting to leave. Every detail was considered on our arrival including a fresh baked apple pie, snacks and beautiful bottle of wine. We loved our time at the property and will absolutely book again
Well designed old school cape cod cottage. Great pet friendly location with easy parking and a short bike ride into town. The caretaker Billy is on site to answer any questions.
We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to visit the Cape off-season. My husband and I were hoping to find a neighborhood old- Cape vibe, which would allow us easy access to Ptown. This cottage was the perfect place.
Billy (the property manager) welcomed us warmly and immediately made us all feel at home. It felt as though we were returning guests.
The cottage is very well equipped to accommodate cooking, relaxing, and entertaining. Our dog also really enjoyed her stay.
We look forward to visiting Come Back Cottage again.
We had a wonderful week at the cottage. It was quiet, comfortable with lovely outdoor spaces. We were able to take advantage of Ptown and environs even though we did not have a car. We greatly appreciated the extras provided by Billy-breakfast items and delicious fruits.

Ok but needs upgrades
There was no bathroom sink so had to use kitchen sink. A/C unit needs to be replaced. Auto function doesn’t work.
The cottage is a treasure and the caretaker a true gift. Everything you could possibly want or need physically and emotionally is offered in the sweetest of cottages. A place to go to catch your breath and fill your heart. We will cherish the memories made and look forward to coming back to make more.
Charming. Comfortable. Excellent hospitality. Quiet. Serene. If you're an artist......there is an abundance of natural inspiration here-no matter the medium.
Billy thought of everything to make our stay personalized and special.
The property is nicely tucked away and such a quintessential artist getaway.
Rustic and packed with everything you need for a special getaway in one open space. You can feel the history and essence of Provincetown everywhere you look.
Comfortable bed, plenty of room in this tiny space.
Fresh local eggs, sweets and a blueberry pie were icing on the cake.
Thanks again Billy!
I just spent, without a doubt, one of the best weeks that I've ever spent in Provincetown in the last 40 years. Pamela was so responsive to questions prior to my stay and Billy was a delight showing me the cottage when I arrived with my dog, Rainbow, and chatting with me during the week. The cottage is pure bliss: cozy, rustic, clean, eclectic, and charming. Without a doubt, I will return often to this place to clear my mind and enrich my soul. What an amazing experience.
We spent more time at "home" engaged in meaningful conversation and just plain relaxing than we usually do when we come out to Provincetown. The place seems to invite this.
Billy, the host, helps create this mood and ambience. He is present but not intrusive.
Daisy the pug, Elisabeth, and Roy enjoyed our visit. Thank You.
What a lovely time! The cabin is so adorable, absolutely perfect for my honey and I to take some time to rest after a very busy tax season! We planned on doing more around the town during our visit, but the cabin was so nice we stayed in most of the time. We were very close to Commercial St so we did spend a little time bopping around the shops but that was the most of it. All within walking distance, maybe a mile or so to the heart of Commercial St. Definitely worth a stay here!
The rental was just perfect for us and for our pup, Arlo. ,Billy met us when we arrived and took us on a tour of the cottage and property. The many goodies and beautiful fresh flowers, plants and floral arrangements were very much appreciated. The art collection was eclectic and extensive and three days was not enough time to explore it fully The rental was equipped with everything any renter or pup would want or need! Arlo is already searching for dates to return to this gem! And we can't wait to join him!
We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Billy the Go To Man was friendly and helpful. His thoughtfulness left us wanting for nothing! Special treats, decor, the eclectic yet homey vibe it was all more than we'd hoped! Close to town, close to beaches, DOG FRIENDLY in every way... Yet quiet and secluded. It's a haven to retreat back to after outings. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for providing the cherry on top !
Booked this spot for me and my husbands 16 year anniversary and I’m so happy I did because this place was absolutely amazing ! Bill the caretaker is absolutely amazing and sweet I don’t think u will find a better care taker , he kept in contact with us Via text and when we arrived he was their to greet us and give us a tour ! He is the sweetest guy ever , baked us some lemon desserts which were amazing , had fresh fruit , wine , candy and all the supplies to need to make a Caprese Salad ! He had everything u needed to have a comfortable stay and the place had candles , soft jazz playing in the background and plants all over ! The place was cozy and breathtaking I can’t wait to be back in the warmer weather ! I recommend everyone stay hear when visiting providence town Massachusetts
MY husband, 2 Irish Terriers and myself had an AMAZING stay at this cottage. Billy the caretaker was beyond friendly and accommodating with anything you could possibly want or need. Pamela and her husband were lovely as well! I can't write enough nice things about this place and the owners.
Billy had plenty of snacks and a stocked fridge, when we arrived he had baked a fresh delicious apple pie! He also left us some delightful sweet treats and homemade gazpacho that was so good!
We tend to worry when we travel about if the place will have everything we need to cook or stay for a week. They had anything you could possible need and more. The space was larger than anticipated, super clean and the artist retreat decor was lovely. Can't wait to book another stay - would highly recommend!
What a special spot to enjoy a long Thanksgiving weekend. We brought all the trimmings to cook a small turkey dinner in the tiny, yet well equipped kitchen. Billy surprised us by stocking the frig with goodies - fresh figs, blueberries, yogurts, Kerrigold butter, Rose wine, jams, eggs, half 'n half, gorgonzola, and MORE!
The cottage is rustic, small, functional, eclectic and immensely comfortable - especially the bed with down comforter and mattress protector). So hard to get out of each morning without coffee first!
We loved walking from the cottage to the beach, trails or on Commercial St (one street down). Easy to get around without a car or bike. And trust me, Billy will ensure you feel welcomed, cared for and pampered. He's a treasure to behold! We already plan to return to Come Back Cottage next fall. Can't wait!
