This listing doesn’t describe the true beauty of the views. To see the views in person was stunning! It was so nice to relax in the hot tub with the string lights on at nighttime. The views even at night were gorgeous! I have told all my friends and family of this house. It was a perfect location with all the places we wanted to go to.
You can't beat this rental for amazing mountain views. The accommodations were comfortable and the owners were very responsive to any questions or concerns. This is an excellent place to enjoy some cool breezes in the summer and the fall colors should be spectacular.
House was just as described on the listing. Windows are awesome, beds were super comfortable and location fantastic. The owner also was very responsive and communicative. No complaints!
What a gem! The house with the floor to ceiling windows and wrap around porch is perfectly situated to take advantage of the spectacular view. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
We selected the location for the mountains and proximity to hiking. The view was beautiful; the location secluded. It was a perfect setup for the two of us and our 2 sons (25 and 28). We were directed to the Seasons Inn for Thanksgiving dinner and also enjoyed meals at Postero and the Black Rose in downtown Hendersonville- what a lovely town to start the Christmas season.
Unbelievable. From the few photos on the listing, we knew it would be a great view, but it was far better in person.
So quiet, secluded, yet close enough to downtown Hendersonville, DuPont, Pisgah. Incredible. From now on we'll be checking the availability of this property for every trip to NC.
A beautiful property in an exquisite setting. Gorgeous view both at night and during the day. Functional kitchen with a good assortment of cooking utensils.
The host had provided some neat extras. The fire pit had cut wood under a waterproof cover, with starting fluid.
There was a propane outdoor heater and a very clean propane grill on the open porch.
No complaints about anything. We would rent it again 🤗
Truly enjoyed the view from the location with the mountains as the backdrop. The hot tub was very nice. Loved the location for proximity to DuPont and other parks. We went to see the Biltmore 50 minutes away one day. The host was very helpful with questions ahead of trip. We really enjoyed our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our favorite spot was the jacuzzi overlooking the valley every evening! There was plenty of room in the house and lots of TVs, the kitchen had tons of pots and pans for cooking and a big refrigerator. Just make sure you bring pantry items- salt, pepper, spices, oils, baggies etc. Beautiful property!
This was the best stay we have had across all our VRBO rentals. This home, view and wonderful settings made this an absolutely wonderful stay. We have become used to bringing our kitchen appliances like. coffee pot and blenders. This host has thought of everything and the home is well stocked.
Hot tub and fire pit just continue to make this an enjoyable place to be. We hope to stay here again!!
The close proximity to Hendersonville makes it easy to visit shopping and eating and beautiful pave greenway. It is a pretty town.
Just a note for awareness. The property is marked as wheelchair accessible. I think it’s so kind to have the access ramp but there are limitations for wheelchair bound individuals. The doors to the bathrooms are too small for wheelchair entry. Just adding this so you can make a decision if in a wheelchair with full disclosure. Even with those challenges we hope to return!
Such a wonderful memorable experience for our family!
House is fairly easy to get to despite a few hairpin turns. It is a very private location, nice and quiet. The glass windows and views were great. The house was generally very nice and comfy. Of the 3 beds we much preferred the master. There is only 1 shower, the other bath has a large tub only which we never used. The hot tub was great! It rained on two of the days we were there but we still had a great time. Our little dog loved it too!
Plenty of space! Open concept allowed for cooking Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy the parade and football on TV. Great view! Short commute to town and hiking/fishing!
They made the most of the views when building this home. The living area and kitchen/dining area faces the incredible view. The three bedrooms are spaced apart, one in each corner of the house for privacy. Lots of wondering spaces to check out on property. Enjoyed the hummingbirds that frequented their feeder. Very secluded and quiet. Very comfortable and homey place. Would definitely come back!
Beautiful property. Got to enjoy city view for 4th of July fireworks. Linda is very good with communication. Had views of lots of animals including one baby bear. It’s high up on the mountains. One of my favs was cooking while watching the view and being on the hammock. Kids didn’t go in treehouse. Her property had everything well stocked. It’s about a 15 minute drive always into town because of the mountain but I will definitely keep this house in mind if we return

Pros & Cons
Only positive remarks about this rental is it has a spectacular view, a nice large screen TV and owner was pleasant and responsive. House was damp and upholstered furniture was soiled and and had an unpleasant odor that permeated the front living area. . After a couple of days a few of us were coughing and experiencing respiratory issues which we attributed to the dampness in the house. This caused us to cut our stay short hence forfeiting five days paid rental.
We stayed at the glass house for almost 2 weeks. The views were beautiful and it is very quiet and secluded. We were visiting family in Greenville,SC and it was a easy drive and a good location for enjoying NC and SC.
