Located in the desirable Bodega Harbour South community in Bodega Harbour, Hummingbird Hideout is right on the 14th fairway of The Links golf course! The talented artist/owner invites you to enjoy tasteful and thoughtfully placed creations in every room. This beautiful single-level, pet-friendly home includes 3 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms, and even a private fenced dog run so you can bring your favorite furry family members.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes you'll need, and more. The large dining table invites happy gatherings, laughter over games, and feasting with friends. The open living room has plenty of seating, and a large TV for watching movies. A private center courtyard has a hot tub and a new gas grill. From Hummingbird Hideout you can walk to the beach, to Blue Water Bistro Restaurant and Bar, The Links Golf Course, and Club House. Several access trails lead to many nearby beaches.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, you can enjoy the living room wood-burning fireplace and large soaking tub in the primary bathroom. The extra large primary bedroom has views of the golf course and a separate entrance to the center courtyard spa. In the entry courtyard you can watch the sunset with a favorite beverage.

Hummingbird Hideout has been offered as a vacation rental in Bodega Bay for many years with many happy guests (and their pets!) coming back year after year. It has been recently refreshed and is now available under new professional management as of August 4, 2024.

After 11AM, the fee for a late checkout is $150/hour with prior approval so that there are not conflicts with previously-scheduled incoming Guests.

Very nice house. Had everything we needed. Beautiful neighborhood.

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 dogs. The house and neighborhood were great. Lots of trails nearby and a beach for the dogs. Easy access to town. The property management service was very helpful and touched base with us via text to make sure things were ok and to remind us of things like the hot tub and garbage service. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Family Holiday

The hummingbird hideout was very comfortable, spacious and nicely maintained. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with anything you need to prepare a meal. The hot tub was very clean and heated up quickly. The location of the home and surrounding golf course is stunning with a beautiful view of the ocean. We have highly recommended the hummingbird hideout to our friends planning a trip to Bodega Bay.

Wonderful Christmas Holiday!

Get away with family from Australia

We live in Sonoma County and had family come from Australia. We got beautiful sunny weather on our first day. Relaxing couple of day, perfect!

Beautiful home!

The Hummingbird Hideout is gorgeous! The home is very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of 5 and 2 little dogs. We enjoyed cooking a nice breakfast and using the grill for dinner. It was nice being so close to markets and restaurants. It's beautifully landscaped also. We hope to return soon and stay longer next time.

Fantastic Retreat

My family and guests truly enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird Hideout. It was spacious and luxurious. The hosts were thoughtful down to the very last detail. It had the amenities of a five star hotel, with the privacy and secluded peace of a quiet retreat. They even provided popcorn for a movie night, and robes for the hot tub! The locations was perfect. A short walk to the beach and close to all the restaurants in Bodega bay main area.

Hummingbird Hideout: A Tranquil Coastal Retreat

Our recent stay at Hummingbird Hideout exceeded expectations. The spacious accommodation comfortably housed our party of five adults, three children, and our family dog. The master bedroom is truly impressive - expansive and well-appointed. While the other two bedrooms are notably smaller, they provided adequate comfort for our group. The home's layout offered plenty of personal space for everyone. What makes this location special is its peaceful setting. Evening walks were a highlight, sometimes shrouded in atmospheric fog, other times beneath brilliant star-filled skies. The soothing sound of distant waves creates a perfect backdrop throughout the property. A short half-mile stroll brings you to a pristine, uncrowded beach. Though dogs officially require leashes, weekday visits afforded our pup some joyful off-leash freedom when the beach was deserted. The property was immaculately clean upon our arrival - a detail we greatly appreciated. The garage parking is a convenient feature. Our only minor observation was the hot tub, which could have been slightly cleaner, though understandably this amenity sees considerable use between guests. Overall, Hummingbird Hideout provided the perfect setting for a memorable family vacation. We're already planning our return visit.
