This property worked perfectly for our son’s team’s week at Dreams park. The house was clean and well appointed. Recommended for any family visiting the area.
My family loved it and felt safe. Some of the team met us there before dinner and everyone was very impressed with the views. We would stay there again.
Hi Everyone,
What a view! Totally worth it for the Deck overlooking the lake and the valley. The home seemed bigger than what the pictures showed. Plenty of towels. Directly across the street from the Pail Shop Vineyards which was excellent and less than 5 minutes to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Could faintly hear the road from the bedroom if the windows were opened. Great host - very accommodating!

The house is in a great location for getting back-and-forth to downtown Cooperstown and to dreams Park. There’s a beautiful view off the back porch. Robert was very responsive. The house is cozy, the beds comfortable. Could use some new cookware and dishes in the kitchen as those were limited, but overall would stay again
Place was filthy on arrival. Floor sticky, carpets dirty. Trash on property. Cash operated washing machine and dryer . No dishwasher. Insufficient dish washing supplies.
On a highway so very busy road with no fencing for yard.
Not a welcome or relaxed feeling at all. Was happy to leave a day early.
Great communication with Robert, the owner. Great location to downtown Cooperstown & Dreams Park. Beautiful view from back deck. Sleeps 7-8 comfortably. Kitchen is outdated: no dishwasher. Washer & dryer require $2 worth of quarters for each load. Overall, would recommend.
The property was clean. It was convenient to downtown and to the ball fields. You cannot walk to town from this location. The pond is beautiful to look at but is not on this actual property. The owner was easy to work with. The check out time is so early. He explained why, but it was hard to get everyone out at 9am. Bring quarters if you plan to do any wash. We had to go to a local bank to obtain them to do laundry. It will take 16 to do a load (wash and dry). The deck was amazing for a relaxing evening. Overall, this was clean and that was #1 priority and the property was close enough to everything to get to our destinations quickly.
We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was convenient to Dreams Park and was easy to get there. The communication between the owner and us was outstanding. Others on our team had issues when tournament dates were changed. However Robert completely understood and worked with us to make sure we had accommodations. The house could use some updating and the deck could use some work, but the house served the purpose and we were able to relax after a long day of baseball.
We had a wonderful stay at this roomy house and Robert was great with all of our questions. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very close to the village of Cooperstown and even closer to the Fly Creek Cider Mill. Would highly recommend.
We stayed at the property. Property was well kept up. We were able to shower in both bathrooms at the same time no problem. We had fun and stayed safe. Nice country house and nice area around it. Walked to the cider mill one way and to the barn/house the other way with no problem.
We spent our time hiding on the other side of the hill from Cooperstown. Afraid of getting germs we hid out , read books and played games. We did go over for one day. Went to the hotel during a storm with tornado warnings. Watched the lake disappear from view. It would have been nice to see the baseball and other museums but it was more important to stay safe. Something which would have been a lot harder in a larger town.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Amazing view...perfect home with just the right amount of space...a wonderful deck with a beautiful view...got to enjoy a spectacular sunset each evening we were there.
Nice House, Great View, But Bring A Lot of Quarters
The house overall was nice and fit our needs. Great view, beautiful deck, good price point on the rental. Two things that we were not prepared for. One - the washing machine and dryer are coin-op. $2.00 per load all in quarters. I have rented several properties over the years and NEVER have seen this. Also, there is no dishwasher, so all dishes have to be hand washed. I'm not really a germophobe, but we all found this to be a bit gross. If you find the same, you may want to do what we did and purchase some plastic wear and paper plates, cups, etc. Other than these two annoyances, the house itself was nice, well-kept and an enjoyable place to stay. The owner was also very responsive with answering questions.
Very nice and clean, all the essentials needed. View from patio was amazing. Close to town and not far from Dreams Park.

The house was spacious and bright, with a beautiful view of the mountains from the back deck.
Everything I would expect from a house rental in this price range. The furnishings and décor are definitely dated, but the house was airy and bright, and the layout was open and inviting. The owner was pleasant to deal with. Would recommend this house.
