Welcome to the beautiful wooded and peaceful area of Schuss Mtn.-Shanty Creek. Great get-away condo with deck overlooking the first fairway of the Schuss Mtn. Golf Course.
Full kitchen with dining area and electric grill available for outdoor use. Two bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other a master suite with a private bath and queen size bed.
Very close to golf and downhill ski area at Schuss Mtn., short drive to Shanty Creek ski slopes.
Shanty Creek has restaurants, as well as a bar and grill. Ivan's at Schuss Mtn. is open during ski season.
Internet and TV streaming services via ROKU (Netflix, YouTube TV) are available in the condo.
The indoor pool and hot tub at Shanty Creek are open year-round, outdoor pool open during the summer season. The Schuss Mtn. indoor pool and hot tub are open only during Golf and Ski seasons.
The condo is a Short drive to Lake Bellaire, Torch Lake, Intermediate Lake, and the Glacial Hills biking trails. Traverse City is about a 45-minute drive.
The town of Bellaire is home to the famous Short's Brewery Bar & Grill, the newest hotspot in Northern Michigan.

The rental was much better than expected. Very nicely stocked with lots of towels, toiletries, and condiments. Beautifully decorated and awesome views of the golf course and hills. Communication from the owner was fantastic.

Fall Getaway
We take an annual trip to the area in the fall and were lucky enough to find this condo. The location is perfect, it's close to golf (right out your door) many restaurants, Torch Lake Traverse City and most of Northern Michigan. The host has provided everything necessary in the condo itself to help make your visit a completely enjoyable and relaxing stay. We loved this condo. This condo was so cozy and welcoming. It was clean. It was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics needed. The beds were comfortable. Extra blankets. Great instructions for checking in/out. Beautiful of view. Accessible to main roads to get places. Would highly recommend.

Girls Annual Trip
We went to Mackinac Island this year and explored UP MI! Had a great trip away from the Texas heat! The condo was a nice break away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas.... We relaxed with the view of the golf course. Very peaceful!

Just what we needed
This condo was just what we needed. We were not up north on vacation, it was for a memorial service. So the surrounding things to do did not apply, stayed 2 nights. We have stayed at many VRBO and Airbnb locations and this is one of the best. Linda has thought of everything, literally. I am a coffee drinker, even plenty of Keurig kcups! The directions were spot on, communication prompt, we had no issues. Nicely decorated and comfortable beds! We would stay again if back in the area! Nice view off back deck too!

Perfect spot for our weekend ski trip with the kids. One minute from Schuss Mountain - you can see the ski lights from the condo! It was a nice size for our family of 4. We enjoyed the gas fireplace after a long day of skiing!

I am a retired educator and now a children's book author with art and music as my hobbies. I have been vacationing at Schuss Mtn. since I was 18 years old. When my children were old enough, we brought them to Schuss for winter skiing. In the summer, we vacationed at Torch Lake and golfed at Schuss and enjoyed the dinner theater performances of the Schussycats. I have many fond memories of my time at Schuss Mountain and I am so pleased to be able to share my happy space with you.

Why they chose this property

I love the skiing at Schuss, not too large, just enough slopes to challenge me or to take it easy. I like the golf course as well, and there are numerous courses to choose from in the area. There are natural wildlife areas nearby as well as the most beautiful lake in Michigan, Torch Lake. Nearby Bellaire is quaint and offers the experience of Short's Brewery, a must-do bar/restaurant in Northern Michigan. The peaceful view during the four seasons is refreshing and relaxing. Come and enjoy this little piece of paradise at my "North Mountain" resort.
