Brand New Romantic Getaway Cabin. Escape to the mountains with your special partner for a romantic getaway. Relax in the main bedroom with fireplace and ensuite spa bath with vessel jacuzzi tub and shower. Enjoy the indoor private heated pool, private sauna and theater room. End the evening relaxing in front of your private outdoor fire pit.

Rustic yet modern design that's cozy but has plenty of room. *** Bonus kids bunk room included if you choose to bring the kids.

Will Not Be Back

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the Alta Maya cabin. We had several issues including black ants all over the kitchen, black mold all over the “rustic” kitchen island, the ac unit kept pouring water inside, pool had no chlorine, main shower has a full open window facing another cabin and the downstairs bathroom had urine soaked into the concrete all around the toilet. We have always stayed with Elk Springs Resorts and we will not be back. For the price we paid for this cabin, this was all unacceptable.We did email the issues (minus the mold which we realized after it was sent) and they responded quickly that they would relay the info to the appropriate personnel. They also sent someone to fix the AC unit which they did not fix because it started pouring water again after we ran it. When we saw the mold, we immediately emailed and never received a response.

Incredible getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alta Maya is amazing! My wife and I came into town for a little get away, and get away we did! We are from Kansas City and could not wait to get to Gatlinburg to explore the sites, shops, trails. The cabin left us not wanting to leave! First of all, it’s beautiful! We used every aspect of the cabin and never felt like we had nothing to do! We did get out and explore, but were excited to return to our piece of paradise. I can’t say enough about our experience with this whole trip. On departure day, we contemplated staying longer. Unfortunately work schedules said otherwise. We will be back and are currently planning that trip!

The location is good, not too far to town but far enough away that you get that "cabin in the mountains" effect. The pool was great and so was the theater room. We also loved being able to sit outside by the fire table in n the back at night. I would definitely go back, we didn't want to leave!

Problem after problem

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You would think before your check in day, management would make sure everything in your cabin working, right? No! We didn't have hot water in our downstairs bathroom the entire stay. Couldn't take a shower, and even the sink water stayed cold. The office sent maintainence 2-3 times, and still wasn't fixed. The fireplace upstairs didn't work, unless we took the entire screen off and lit it.The master loft bedroom has a cheap mattress in it and the canopy frame covers the tv so you can't see anything. To top it all off, all management could offer us is $86 for not being able to use all the rooms and amenities we paid in full for.

The experience overall was fabulous and the vibe the cabin gave off is somewhere you want to try to spend every moment enjoying the beauty of it. Although the mattress wasn't firm enough, it didn't change the excitement and enjoyment of the amazing amenities that come with the cabin.The cabin was very clean and everything was in the right place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Elk Springs Resort staff was very professional with outstanding customer service. The Alta Maya cabin description was very accurate and the property was very nice, with easy access in a secure setting.The only items that in my opinion that need attention is the hot water setting, the water did not get very hot at all and trying to watch television from the king room bed is almost impossible due to the bed frame blocking half of the tv screen. Other than those two minor items, our stay was wonderful.
