Perfect

We were there for a wedding at Loon Lodge. Could not have been in a better location. Dick, next door, was very hospitable - giving us firewood and chairs for a small fire. Thank you

Great Accommodstions! Thanks to the owners for renting out

Great place with queen bed up loft making a 3 bedroom not 2. Everything you need. My only critism is that it was not open and ready for us when we arrived as we were told it would be. Water, water heater and heat were not turned on. We had to find water turn on valve, reset circuit breaker for water heater and turn master furnace switch to get warmed up. Took 2 cold showers before we figured out the issue.

Lone Moose-December 2022

Nice camp with some feedback.. Badly needs new mattresses on all four first floor beds. Stayed with adult children and would not stay again if same mattresses. Was part of the decision to leave after one night. Camps in Rangeley need some alternate heat or generator for winter rental. No way to safely stay in winter below 10F with power out. Wpuld recommend a propane heat appliance and propane cooking range. Need to post warning about falling snow and ice from metal roof. Had very close call with wife walking small puppy next to camp when avalanche of snow and ice. The avalanche hits the ground nearly 15 feet from the camp where cars may be parked and people walking. Was surprised no damage to my car. Snow piled nearly to the car's roof. Only the maine driveway from the road was plowed. Had to shovel all the way from the camp to where plowed to get out. If we hadnt left early before hard freeze we wouldnt have been able to get out. These are all fixable concerns which would make this a perfect winter get away in Rangeley.

So tidy and cute

The cabin is exactly as billed: cozy, tidy, and conveniently located. Check-in and check-out were non-events. Everything about our weekend there was easy. Thanks!!

Lone Moose Cabin

This is a very nice cabin, well appointed and everything in working order. The location is very convenient to town and all things in the region, but it is not on the lake or in a great natural setting. I have nothing negative to say about the cabin, and the rental process was easy as pie. I would reccommend to anyone with the caveat that you are not renting a lake house but a town house. in saying that, it is a really peaceful and pleasant place to stay, and you can walk about 100 meters over to IGA to buy food, wine or beer.

Fantastic!

Upon entering, I was very pleasantly surprised. The unit was in excellent condition and contained everything I could ask for. Utensils (cooking and eating), pots & pans, dishes, spices and condiments, coffee maker, toaster, griddle, microwave and more were provided and all in working order. The cabin can easily sleep 6 and was tastefully decorated with everything "Moose". I spent a very enjoyable week in the Maine North Woods and this property was a welcomed relief after a fun filled day.
