We are owner/managers and life-long Montanans who originally purchased this property as our own fishing retreat. I'm an amateur enthusiast photographer and the pure beauty of the space is renewing. With almost three acres I spend time walking the grounds, camera in hand, every chance I get.
Why they chose this property
We love the mountain vista in every direction, the beauty of the river, and the light both morning and evening. But the river is what really draws us. We've heard from guides that this stretch of river is one of the best on the river, and we can attest to the fish going crazy in the evening. The interstate bridge pylons create a natural haven in front of our house. There is a riffle with a fall-off that has the fish just lining up, especially in the evening.
What makes this property unique
In addition to river access, the property is mature. The fenced garden area looks like an old homestead surrounded by trees with open area in the middle. It's a little corner of shaded paradise all on its own. Then across the road there is almost an acre of land that is part of this property - and it has tall grasses, sage, and places where deer dependably bed down. It's just a beautiful Montana spot.
