About this property
Hi Buddy! A very PDX Hostel in the heart of Kerns - Captain Sharpe's Room
The Short & Sweet Single Sleepover Rooms (Max Stay: 5 Nights)
Captain Sharpe's & Zissou Room
Designed for solo travelers who pack light, dream big, and appreciate an aesthetically pleasing yet peculiar space. These rooms are perfect for a short-term guest passing through—cozy, well-appointed, and just mysterious enough to make you wonder who else has passed through before you.
Perks:
A plush made-in-Portland bed (perfectly made, just for you).
A shared bathroom (because camaraderie makes life interesting).
A reading nook (for contemplating life's big questions—or just journaling about brunch).
Unique decor and odd little treasures, because details matter.
Maximum stay: 5 nights.
$75 per night.
Not suited for long-term stays. There’s no full kitchen or laundry access in these rooms, and the shared bathroom setup works best for short visits. If you’re looking for a home base for a longer stay, Margot’s Spot is your best bet!
Single Occupancy Only! These rooms are cozy, thoughtfully designed nooks for solo travelers. One bed, one guest, one delightful stay. (If you're bringing a travel companion, Margot’s Spot is the place for you!)

About the host
Hosted by Gabrielle Enfield

Owner/operator Gabrielle is a Pacific Northwest native, and even with all its change, Portland still gives her the butterflies. A creative force, she imparts color, quirk, and personality on all she touches, and when she's not welcoming guests to Hi Buddy, she's one of the area's top real estate agents. She runs a team called Working Magic Group.
