The Carolina Dunes is located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach, known for being centrally located to all the Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and within walking distance of two restaurants, a bar and Starbucks! The Carolina Dunes also offers a Large outdoor pool and sunning deck with tables, umbrellas and chairs kiddie pool, courtyard, private walkway to the beach, outdoor showers, lobby, luggage carts, free wifi and onsite parking.

-This is a non smoking unit. Smoking permitted outside of condo.

Very nice!

Very nice place right on the beach. Management very responsive to a couple of issues at the beginning of stay. Enjoyed the location, easy to get to areas around the city.

Great location and comfy beds

This condo was clean and right on the beach. We loved the accommodations and the beds were great! The view was fantastic and there was plenty of seating in dining area and lounge area. The ice maker in the refrigerator was not working properly and they sent someone to fix it during our stay. I’d highly recommend this condo.

Cool Stay

My husband and I enjoyed two nights in the beautiful, clean and relaxing Condo with an amazing view. Everything we needed was available in the condo, which consisted of pots, pans, pillows, blankets, towels, bedding and more. The unit has all kitchen appliances also washer and dryer. Although it wasn’t necessary for us to use this time. We are looking forward to our next stay. And we’ve told family and friends already about the condo and our experience.

Everything was really nice, only detractors was that the bathroom in the master was a tad narrow not alot can be done about that. Cleanliness was overall really good, but the air vents need to get a swiffer run over it. Overall we really enjoyed the condo. Would recommend it.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This condo was perfect! It was very roomy, moreso than we expected. Had plenty of room for 4 adults and a small child. We also enjoyed the location of this condo because it was calm, quiet, and not overcrowded, unlike the southern end of the beach. We never had an issue with parking either. Great for smaller children! The only negative thing I have to say about this condo is that it could have been a little cleaner upon check-in. We didn’t find anything disturbing but did find some leftover crumbles from the previous renters. (Popcorn/snack crumbs under the couch cushions on the pullout bed and under the coffee table) Nothing that would keep me from booking again! We were very pleased and would absolutely stay here again.

Fall Break

Condo was nice and pretty clean ( did see some candy under the console table). There wasn't 4 beach chairs, only three and one chair had a bar that was bent. There was no umbrella so we went out and purchased one. This was our first visit to Myrtle Beach. We did like the fact that this was a small resort. I would stay here again in the future.

Recent Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location and right on the beach were the perks of this condo. Everything was super close and the views of the ocean were spectacular. Only downside was the cleanliness of the condo. Surfaces were hastily wiped down, glass doors had hand prints and smudges still from previous occupants, and it seemed like the condo wasn't vacuumed before our arrival. We were able to vacuum and do a quick wipe down to alleviate the issues but given that our condo was ready hours before the 4pm check in time, a little longer could've been spent on the cleaning before our arrival.

But the condo wasnt very clean it looks like no one dust nothing off also floors where dirty n gritty. Both showers had mold everywhere n grown on the shower curtains as well. Also shower head fell off n had to get that fixed. Internet was off n on working. I definitely feel that if it was cleaner it would of made it feel worth the money spent. Otherwise i would say the style n decor n future was very cute. N the beds where comfortable.

The location was quiet with nice close access to several places. It would be nice to have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and a couple more dishwashing packets - but not a deal breaker for us. Felt safe, and walkable to coffee houses, the beach was right out the doors, and very nice sized. Beds were great and comfortable. TV remote was a bit more challenging to figure out, it was just different than we have at home.

Great condo with Ocean view!

It was very nice overall. Great kitchen, bedrooms were spacious. Could pay attention to some detail in the cleaning, for example, under the couches. Guest bedroom door handle was loose. I tightened it a little but it came loose again. Cover for light fixture on patio was off and on the floor. Sliding doors were hard to open. Overall. It was still great. The VRBO fees are excessive. I will look for other services before using VRBO again.

Fall beach trip 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 3 main complaints are the Ac stopped working our 2nd night. Made the call and it was taken care of. I t took maintenance about 45 minutes to get to us. 2nd Pest control came and this was not the 4th Monday nor was it a Monday we did let them spray inconvenience we was getting ready to go out. 3rd complaint was the power was turned off to the whole complex without any notification it was going to off. I got a text after I called to enquirer on what was going on. Unfortunately for us we had started out laundry the first load was just put in the dryer when the power went off.After about 4 hours my husband took them to the laundromat to dry and the other 2 loads to wash and dry. Seeing that it was our last day and getting everything clean for the trip home. Spent money to do this that could’ve have been avoided. We looked at the clock when the power was turned off it was 8:45 am and didn’t get turned back on until 2:40 pm It was off almost 6 hours.
