Amenities! Amenities! Pinnacle Port is a self-contained resort with multiple pools (including an indoor pool), sauna, community room, game room, workout room, playground, fishing on Lake Powell and the Gulf of Mexico, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and many more. Pinnacle Port is a gated community with 24/7 security. Unit A--318 is a townhouse style condo with the bedroom on the entrance floor and the kitchen, dining room, and den on the upper floor. It is a one bedroom and one and a half bath condo with a king size bed, queen sofa sleeper, and a pull out single chair bed. There are 13 stairs from the bedroom to the kitchen area. The full bath is in the bedroom. The half bath (2 sinks and toilet) are upstairs.

It is off the beaten path yet only minutes away from all of the attractions of scenic Highway 30A. Take a drive down 30A and see the quaint beaches of Rosemary, Seagrove, Seaside, Grayton, and Santa Rosa. Keep driving west and you'll run into Sand Destin--home of the Silver Sands Outlets. Destin is just a little farther down the road and boast of many fine restaurants, shops, and other attractions. The new Pier Park is only 8 miles away from Pinnacle Port off of HWY 98. It is a unique shopping and dining experience.

Come, relax and enjoy the sandy white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. You won't want to go home!

Great beach front location!!

We had a great time on our stay. We had a beautiful beachfront view from the condo and the beds were comfortable. The stores are conveniently nearby & the whole area is family friendly. We definitely will be back next year.

Perfect location for our beach trip. Quiet area to take our family and enjoy the beach and close enough to shopping and attractions to enjoy a day out and about. The views of the beach from the condo were amazing, even on an overcast day.

Beach vacation

Property as described, location is amazing. The balcony was great to sit on in the AM & PM. Could use some TLC, some updating, but was very comfortable. The bed is super comfy-slept great every night!

Perfect getaway

This condo was perfect for our family vacation. The location of the condo and the views from the kitchen and master bedroom were breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. The owner, Kat, was awesome to deal with before, during and after our stay. We will definitely be back.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time at Pinnacle Port. The unit was beautiful and very clean. The process was very easy and everything went very smoothly. We would definitely stay here again. Love the less crowded beaches at this time of year and the area the condo is located in.

Great location

Perfect location if want to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to it if you choose to go! It’s literally right on the beach which made it so easy in the mornings to set up, the condo itself is as described, it is a little older…not fancy but the price reflects that, we really enjoyed our time! My kids cried the last night not wanting to leave!

Good deal for the price

Spacious and comfortable with great views from dining table. But beds were not too comfortable and apartment is quite dated, but some charming and practical touches. Good deal for the price, but not luxurious.

The ultimate beach time!!

My feet were less than a minute from being in the sand!! And our views were wonderful from the condo! Thank you for such a nice condo, all the needed home things, but the sand in my toes ASAP was the bomb! We never made it to the pool!

Excellent location and view!!

This was a very pleasant rental experience. I loved the location and view. The unit was clean and furnished well. The only thing, (this is not a complaint) is that the air conditioning may need to be looked at before it gets hot. It seemed to struggle. This was not an issue for us as it was cool enough to shut it off and open the windows. We enjoyed the Gulf air very much. Overall we would rent there again.

Perfect for Us

We loved our stay! The property manager was soo nice and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect. We could easily go between 30A and Panama City every day being in the middle like we were. The beach wasn’t over crowded. The pool was nice and had a place you could get lunch that was good (barbecue nachos). The downstairs bed was super comfy. The kitchen and pantry were fully stocked with utensils and cookware. I brought stuff that I didn’t even need bc it was already there! It’s right on the beach, and the beach is pretty! There’s a place to go fishing, we did that. It felt really secure bc you couldn’t get in unless you were staying there. They had security 24/7. We would stay here again, and probably will in the future.

An okay condo...

We love coming to Pinnacle Port and trying out different condos, however, this condo listing is listed as 2 bathrooms when really it should be 1.5 bath. Only one shower in master. Double sink bathroom does not have shower. This condo needs a very deep clean in all areas and not sure if the carpet on the stairs is holding a smell or if the air unit is. We had to change the air filter and open vents that were closed off as it was not cooling well at first until we opened them and changed the filter. Woke up with headaches daily. Major upgrades needed. Otherwise, location, communication, storage and amenities were great.

Great View

The property met our needs for two people. One of us slept on the pullout couch, mattress OK. The internet service for the TV over the weekend was horrible. We were not able to enjoy a movie in the evening on TV. Wifi worked upstairs for our phones, not so much downstairs in the bedroom. So if you really need the Internet/TV this might be challenging. This is not owner fault, they have all the instructions written out with passwords, service phone numbers to call, etc. It was the service at this facility that was not good. We did see a sign in the lobby that they were updating cable so perhaps in the future, this will be much better. The beach was awesome and plenty of room to spread out, the beach view upstairs and downstairs is out a window, and awesome. The small balcony is off the living area and on the backside, we did not get an ocean breeze here so it got pretty hot early on. We enjoyed it more in the evening. The owner was great to work with, very responsive, very easy check-in, and we enjoyed our stay in this area.

Your host

My mom (the owner) retired from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL. I (unit manager) am an instructor at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, AL. My husband is the Director of Athletic Photography at The University of Alabama. We have three children. My brother is the Director of Golf/Head Golf Coach at Florida State University. His wife works in the FSU athletic department with financial aid. They have two children.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! It is a very secluded complex with 24/7 security. It is off the beaten path yet only a stones throw from scenic HWY 30A.

What makes this property unique

We love the many different amenities that are available at Pinnacle Port. It is a self-contained resort! The girls LOVE the indoor pool and being able to walk directly on the beach from the condo.
