Dalton stay

Apartment 1, very clean and met all our needs. Kitchen was well equipped and the house was toasty warm! Bathroom towels, hand soap and shampoo were furnished. Very quiet! Living space could use more comfortable seating, only one comfortable chair available. Adding lined or insulated window covering would be a plus.

Pet-Friendly? Not Really

The stay was okay overall, but there were a few disappointments. First, while the listing advertised the property as pet-friendly, we weren’t informed until after check-in that pets couldn’t be left unattended. This left us scrambling on more than one occasion, as we had to take our dogs everywhere, which was far from practical. The house itself felt like a mismatched thrift store collection, with no cohesive decor. For instance, the living room featured the Apollo rocket on one wall and a garden landscape on another, creating an odd and clashing atmosphere. The furniture was equally disappointing—there wasn’t even a proper couch, just uncomfortable seating arrangements that made relaxing difficult. Additionally, the pictures on the listing were misleading, as the furniture in the house didn’t match what was shown online. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-decorated space that lives up to its listing or a truly pet-friendly option, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
