We do our best to make sure no parties will be hold in our lofts and we will make sure that rule will be respected by all of our guests.

Surrounded by majestic evergreens, a cozy interior, is what 's offer you at the Cantley Loft. Perfect for an escape from the city for a couple, with friends.

Our loft is 800 square feet of leaving space with a pool table can accommodate up to 4 people. It has 1 bedroom, with 1 queen bed with complete bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

You also have access to payable washer/dryer.

Outside there is a spa, an outdoor fireplace and outdoor furnitures which can be shared.

We offer shampoo and conditioner, we also provide your first pot of coffee every morning of your stay. We offer all the bed linens and towels.

We have a private lake in front of the chalet that only our guests can use it, we have a nice dock where you can swim off of or sunbath on it. Our guests have access to paddle boards and a pedal boat free of charge, and we also do kayak rental. Our guests have access to two outdoor fireplaces, one in the front of the chalet next to the lake, and in the back of the back of the chalet where you can do bonfire in the summer or winter.

**You have chosen this place to live a rustic experience unlike anything you'll live at home, we have carefully chosen all the material ie: (barn wood and antique wood that is scuffed and worn, wroth iron hardware that will a rusted look over time, copper plumbing valves and galvanized steel sink and tub that changes colour and oxidize with time)...if you're not comfortable with rustic environments, this is not the place for you.

**LIVING ROOM**
This is not a single bed, but a floor mattress. Unfortunately, we do not have the option to put floor mattress in the amenities.

**WATER : The water in the chalet is connected to an artesian well. All the sinks have a P-Trap which creates a barrier to prevent odours. However, the water in our region is sulphurous like the majority of water located in Canadian regions. The water is drinkable and not toxic.


*WINTER*
*****From November to April we recommend you to have a 4WD vehicle WITH winter tires, we are not responsible for towing or any other costs**** The roads to get to our property and the parking lot are professionally cleared of snow. However, we can't control the weather and our team waits before the end of a storm to clean the parking. We do not have control on the schedule of snow removal of the roads from the city.

You will have at your disposal a shovel and sand or salt with non-slip gravel if necessary. You use to clear the snow during your stay. Our team will clean the snow after a snow storm. Again, we can't control the weather and the end of a snow storm neither.

Our property is located in a country in which we have a long and intense winter. It is beautiful, however, it comes with some constraints that we ask you to keep in mind and be aware of.

PETS
One small dog per booking might be allowed. We will ask for more details about your dog (size) before approving. A $500 security deposit will be ask as well as a $100 extra cleaning fee

WHAT WE OFFER
We have a regular coffee machine, we supply the filters, a cup of coffee per day of your stay. We also offer salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
We also offer on site the sale of wood for the fireplace, and a vending machine with soft drinks, energy drinks, chocolate bars, chips and peanuts. Outside fireplace is not available during winter (Nov 15ht-April 15th).

*BBQ*
Available between May 1st & October 15th

**Please note that you may see small insects during your stay, when seasons are changing, because our chalet is located in a rural environment and it is impossible for us to control all the wildlife that surrounds it**
**The hot tub is closed between 11PM and 9AM in order to respect all of our travellers**

*ELECTRIC VEHICULE*
Please do not plug your car on our electrical circuit, it might cause damages. If you do, extra fees will apply.

1. A $500 security deposit might be asked.

2. Check-in is possible any time after 4PM. Checkout is before 11AM It is really important to respect that schedule in order to avoid extra fees.

3. It is strictly forbidden to smoke cigarettes, weed or to vape in the chalet. A $500 extra fee might be applied if you do.

4.Off-limit areas: Guests can not go up the staircase, on the upstair deck.

5.Shoes and boots are not permitted inside

6. Make sure not to throw any baby wipes, condoms, tampons in the toilette, it will the septic system which will stop functioning and you will be charge an emergency call from a plumber.

9. The spa is a sensitive environment, the extreme measures are to snuff s ensure the quality of the water as far as possible. The user must take a shower before each use. The spa is set location al outdoors in nature, under large spruce, it is 100% sure that there will spruce needles in the spa which as nothing to do with the quality of the water. The landlord can not be held responsible for the condition and / or the proper functioning of the spa. In no event shall a deduction and / or reimbursement be applyed.
The landlord can not be held responsible for a power failure, of the Internet and / or satellite cable in any of these cases, a deduction and / or reimbursement does apply.

11. Guests assume full responsibility for any accident, injury or illness occurring in the cottage. By accepting this booking, it is agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of any damage arising from their use of the premises. Customers acknowledge that they may personally purchase insurance to protect against such occurrences.

12. If you notice anything that presents a danger that could cause damage to the place or to people, let us know immediately.

13. If any personal belongings are left behind when you check out, a handling fee of $75 plus taxes are applicable

14. When you make a reservation with us you agree to all of the above house rules.

Good stay, hard bed

The place itself has a nice aesthetic, you can tell they planned the modern rustic vibes well. The large windows and view were very nice. Directions were clear, and the hosts warn you ahead of time that the road coming in can be bumpy/ muddy. Everything was clean and as listed in the description. Wifi worked great, fireplace makes it nice and cozy. It is a large complex with several other units so the hot tub is shared, and you can hear the other units but everyone shut things down by 11pm during our stay which was great. This unit does not have a full kitchen (which is advertised), and the second “bed” is an air mattress so be aware if you are booking for a bigger group. Our biggest complaints would be that the one queen bed was not comfortable- it was very hard- and the hot water is very smelly. Overall our stay was fine, but a more comfortable bed would have made a big difference as we didn’t sleep very well either night

Mauvaise destination

Il aurait été préférable que nous restions à la maison plutôt que de louer cet endroit. Coté qualité-prix c'est insultant. Le loft est plus petit que décrit et que sur les photos. C'est sombre, mais même le manque de luminosité ne peut cacher la saleté sur les murs et plafonds. Le robinet d'évier était rouillé. L'eau chaude dégageait une odeur fétide. Quand on se baignait, l'odeur restait sur soi. Comme d'autres invités l'ont mentionnés, les murs sont à réparer. Il y a eu aussi une chute de neige du toit. Quand au voisinage, nous sentions être observés. À noter que l'on entend les voisins. L'endroit fait penser à une halte familiale, donc pas idéal pour les couples. En somme, nous ne retournerons pas et ne recommandons pas. cet endroit.

DOES NOT SLEEP 4 and HOSTS ARE DECEITFUL

Booked this place for 4 adults, expecting 2 beds as listed and in the description. When we arrived, there was only 1 queen bed. We messaged the host, who told us about there being an air mattress in the coffee table, but that wasn’t mentioned in the original listing. My girlfriend screen-recorded the property details when we arrived and after a while, the host sent us a screenshot showing the air mattress as the second bed in the listing. It was obvious the description had been changed within minutes. They were unable and unwilling to rectify the situation. VRBO investigated and agreed with us with our screen-recording and time stamps etc. VRBO was unable to refund because the way their billing works - just be warned that when dealing with deceitful hosts that it’s not an easy thing to try to remedy as we way overpaid for a 1 bed rental and there was no way to find another at the last minute. What else would they pin on their customers?Another thing, it was extremely loud with a party going on past 2am. Because of the deceit I don’t trust that the hosts wouldn’t say we did something. As a result, video recorded the entire checking out process to us driving away.
