A log cabin in the mountains of the Laurentians. Surrounded by majestic evergreens, a cozy interior, is what 's offer you at Solitude. Perfect for an escape from the city for a couple, with friends, or family, unlike anywhere else.

Recently built, this chalet in a prestigious Scandinavian log home duplex can accommodate up to 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms with 1 king, 1 queen and 1 sofa bed. All beds are fitted with feather duvets and duvets for your comfort. You will also find 1 complete bathrooms and a bathroom and 1 fully equipped kitchen. In the living room, we find a Smart TV, and outside there is a spa, an outdoor fireplace and gardens furniture, the chalet is bathed in light and offers a lifestyle where the class and sophistication of wood blend with nature varying with the seasons.

Harmonize with nature, varying with the seasons. A fixture of deer horns animates the living room at meal times and creates the atmosphere much sought after ski.The solid wood table for 8 persons invited to the feasts as well as exchanges with friends in family. You can also cook on the BBQ on back porch in summer and winter. In the winter snowshoe enthusiasts can go on an expedition in the mountains on my 10 acres property or on the golf course.

Guest can access the whole 10 acres property, the fire pit, the pick-nick table, outdoor furniture, hot tub, snowshoe trails.

To access the chalet from Montreal, take the 117 north, once in St-Faustin turn left on Chemin De La Savagine, turn left on the 3rd road called Chemin Du Lac Caché, then enter in the 2nd entrance on your left where there's log lamp post. The Little Cabin is located behind the big log house.

**You have chosen this place to live a rustic experience unlike anything you'll live at home, we have carefully chosen all the material ie: (barn wood and antique wood that is scuffed and worn, wroth iron hardware that will a rusted look over time, copper plumbing valves and galvanized steel sink and tub that changes colour and oxidize with time)...if you're not comfortable with rustic environments, this is not the place for you.

The parking is shared.

*WINTER*
*****From November to April we recommend you to have a 4WD vehicle WITH winter tires, we are not responsible for towing or any other costs**** The roads to get to our property and the parking lot are professionally cleared of snow. However, we can't control the weather and our team waits before the end of a storm to clean the parking. We do not have control on the schedule of snow removal of the roads from the city.

You will have at your disposal a shovel and sand or salt with non-slip gravel if necessary. You use to clear the snow during your stay. Our team will clean the snow after a snow storm. Again, we can't control the weather and the end of a snow storm neither.

Our property is located in a country in which we have a long and intense winter. It is beautiful, however, it comes with some constraints that we ask you to keep in mind and be aware of.

PETS
One small dog per booking might be allowed. We will ask for more details about your dog (size) before approving. A $500 security deposit will be ask as well as a $100 extra cleaning fee

*OUTSIDE FIREPLACE*
The fire pit is accessible from May 1st to November 15th

WHAT WE OFFER
We have a regular coffee machine, we supply the filters and a 8x cup bag of coffee of every day of your stay, we also supply salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil, we supply bed linen and towels.

For you comfort, the extra beds that we supply are sofa-beds and high quality inflatable bed with an integrated pump.
1. A $500 security deposit might be asked.

2. Check-in is possible any time after 5PM. Checkout is before 11AM It is really important to respect that schedule in order to avoid extra fees.

3. It is strictly forbidden to smoke cigarettes, weed or to vape in the chalet. A $500 extra fee might be applied if you do.

5. Shoes and boots are not permitted inside

6. Make sure not to throw any baby wipes, condoms, tampons in the toilette, it will the septic system which will stop functioning and you will be charge an emergency call from a plumber.

8. Party and excessive noise are not permitted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a $500 penalty and immediate expulsion without refund.

9. The spa is a sensitive environment, the extreme measures are to snuff s ensure the quality of the water as far as possible. The user must take a shower before each use. The spa is set location al outdoors in nature, under large spruce, it is 100% sure that there will spruce needles in the spa which as nothing to do with the quality of the water. The landlord can not be held responsible for the condition and / or the proper functioning of the spa. In no event shall a deduction and / or reimbursement be applyed.
The landlord can not be held responsible for a power failure, of the Internet and / or satellite cable in any of these cases, a deduction and / or reimbursement does apply.

11. Guests assume full responsibility for any accident, injury or illness occurring in the cottage. By accepting this booking, it is agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of any damage arising from their use of the premises. Customers acknowledge that they may personally purchase insurance to protect against such occurrences.

12. If you notice anything that presents a danger that could cause damage to the place or to people, let us know immediately.

13. If any personal belongings are left behind when you check out, a handling fee of $75 plus taxes are applicable
