Matagorda is one of the best kept secrets in Texas. It is a small fishing and tourist township on the upper Texas coast. Matagorda is known for its abundance of wildlife, soft sand beaches, world class fishing, hunting, birding and South Texas hospitality. Here you will find a wilder, more natural place with smaller crowds than most coastal towns in Texas. This property is located next door to our rental 2248 which has a swimming pool so you can rent both properties side by side.
