About this property
Spacious and Peaceful Location, Family and Pet Friendly
Light and Bright end unit with vaulted ceilings and south facing. No one above you or below, and, because we are at the end of the building, this unit is very private and quiet. We are within one mile from shopping/dinning at The Village, Eagle and Canyon Lodge. We are located off Lake Basin Bike Path which is just behind the unit, with direct access from the condo complex.
This condo is comfy and cozy, while spacious and very open. It's perfect for families and or friends looking to share and make memorable experiences here in Mammoth year-round.
This is a 3 bedroom 2.25 bathroom condo, with an open spacious living room, large 75" in flat screen smart tv, large sectional couch, fully stocked kitchen, and has a washer/dryer for your use.
Downstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom along with a private sink in master. The Master bedroom has a king sized sleep number bed that is heated with adjustable firmness and adjustable head/feet. The 2nd bedroom has a king size bed with a T.V.s in, the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds - 4 twin beds. This room does not have a T.V. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a shower/tub combo with separate sink area. There is a spacious patio at the front door to store bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, or other toys you bring with you (please note that this patio gets packed with snow during the winter and early spring months). There is also a small grassy common area just outside the front door in the summer/early fall months for you and your pets to enjoy. An outdoor ski locker in available by the front door.
Upstairs consists of a full kitchen, the 2nd bathroom with a step-in shower, large dining area and sectional couch. Relax by the wood stove during the winter or sit on the balcony and use the Traeger grill/smoker during the late spring, summer and early fall months.
The open kitchen has all the basics you will need to cook at home; pots and pans, utensils, dishes, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, cups and plates. Plenty of space for two chiefs. Coffee is provided, because, if you are like us, we need it first thing to get going in the morning.
There is a large sectional couch to to warm up and relax on after a long day on the slopes, on the lakes or on the trails. This couch is a sleeper sofa in case a separate sleeping area is wanted. Keep warm and cozy in the colder months next to the charming wood burning stove. There are plenty of blankets and pillows. There is a full message chair to help relax after a day of outdoor fun as well as a lazy boy chair for extra seating if needed. The large dining table seats 6 people, but you can squeeze in 8 with the extra chairs next to the table. Relax on the upper deck with a gorgeous and peaceful view of the surrounding areas which happens to be nestled behind eagle lodge at the end of a cul-de-sac.
Parking is only steps away from the unit. 2 parking permits are available. If you need additional parking, there is an overflow lot just behind the unit (details given at time of booking). A free mountain shuttle bus is available with stops located just behind the building (about a 1 minute walk from the front door) and at the end of the street (about a 3 minute walk). These bus routes are usually available in the winter months, but check estransit website for the latest maps with routes, stops and times.
It is possible to ski in and out to Eagle Lodge when there is good snow coverage, but there are some flat areas where trekking is required. This should only be attempted by advanced skiers. We strongly suggest that you walk the route first so you are aware of the conditions before attempting. There are usually tracks to follow. If there is not enough snow coverage or if there are kids in the group, we strongly suggest using the shuttle bus - it is easy and very convenient.
Pets are welcome. Up to 2 dogs are allowed. In addition a nonrefundable pet fee of $200 for the first pet will be charged, and an additional $50 for the second pet. If bringing a dog along you must let management know ahead of time.
Service animals are allowed with prior notice at time of booking. Please note ESA dogs are not the same as service animals and misrepresenting one is against the law. ESA dogs are not a service dog under state law and do not have the same privileges as a trained service dog. If you bring an animal without prior consent or management knowledge you will immediately lose your entire security deposit. Paperwork will be required in order for us to accommodate.
There is a security deposit of $1000, which will be refunded promptly upon departure.
We urge all our guests to purchase the affordable insurance offered through Vrbo. This allows last minute cancels and ensures a refund should you not be able to make it due to unpredictable circumstances or weather conditions.
This condo is non-smoking. This unit is a rental for anyone 25 years of age and older.
