No Pets Allowed. Enjoy the splendor of this magical area from the comfort of your own personal ocean retreat in the serene Marine Terrace area. Blue Sea Castle is an easy three minute walk to the stunning Fiscalini Ranch Preserve where you can explore 400 acres of ocean bluff trails, watch seals and sea otters play, egrets pose and whales pass along the coast. Walk three blocks to enjoy your morning coffee or a picnic on the beach and explore the tide pools. As night falls catch the sunset over the water then view the Milky Way and canopy of stars from your private deck before falling asleep to the serenade of nearby breaking waves.

At Blue Sea Castle enjoy ocean views from the front deck and great room. Full remodel completed 2022. All new appliances and furniture. New King beds, a large master suite with new gas fireplace upstairs, two bedrooms with full bath downstairs, and new furnishings throughout provide comfort and beauty. Outdoor decks, an open floor plan with well-equipped kitchen, and ample seating provide everything you need whether planning a family barbeque or a romantic dinner for two.

Included are all the amenities that you expect: wireless high-speed Internet access, four large smart TVs with cable and streaming, gas fireplace, gas grill, fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer.

Blue Sea Castle is a perfect home base from which to explore the many local attractions including wine tasting at the more than 200 wineries in the world class Paso Robles wine region, the famous Hearst Castle, Big Sur, the Piedras Blancas elephant seal rookery, local restaurants and antiquing.

Sunset views of the ocean while grilling on the deck as the deer wander around the house add to the experience. Walking the preservation ranch lands, just a couple blocks away presents trails through the woods, and boardwalk above the sea cliff. The house is comfortable and loaded with quality appliances and cookware. Just about everything you need for a memorable visit to Cambria.

It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood just a couple blocks from the ocean and walking trails through a ranch preserve. Grilling dinner on the back deck while watching the deer roam the neighborhood as the sun sets over the ocean is pretty hard to beat. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and all the cookware you could want. Three comfortable bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms too. And finally, the property management company is right there in Cambria to help with any issues that might arise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the cleanest house we’ve ever rented in the Cambria area. The furnishings and appliances were great. We like to cook and barbecue and enjoyed preparing our meals here. We did have to provide all spices etc., but that wasn’t a problem. I would suggest that a few of the nonstick pans be replaced as the coating is wearing off. A couple reviews mentioned that ants were a problem. We noticed them starting to appear after a few days so we put some ant bait traps out and after a couple days the ants were gone. This home is in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the ocean and a nice ranch preserve for walking. Evening sunsets over the ocean were lovely, as were the many deer in the neighborhood. Also nice to have the use of the garage. Scenic Coast Property Management were very helpful with any questions we had, and even lent us a reading lamp for our stay. We love this area mainly for daily walks along the beaches, bluffs, and ranch roads. Such a beautiful area and we’ve already reserved this home for a return visit next year.

It’s a clean and comfortable place with nice views of the ocean and neighboring ranch preserve which is great for walks. The garage is not available for guests to use, but that wasn’t a problem for us. However, you have to be careful backing out of the driveway because the neighbors motor home sticks out into the street a bit. So overall it’s a nice property.

The only irritation was ants in the master bedroom right next to my side of the bed. Ants on the bed, and the sofa, and my clothes (before I realized there were ants). Property mgmt co was responsive, and had ant bait for us to pick up. The bait did work after the 2nd day, but the ants were back on day 6, thankfully not on the bed. It would be 5 stars if there were no ants ;)

Beautiful views

Favorite thing about our stay was the location in proximity to the ocean and trails. We were lucky enough to see 2 gray whales and walk to the beach every evening. We would come back again for sure.

Great Escape for Writing

The house was perfect for doing just that. the open layout on the second floor living space, with all the windows allowed the natural light,and ocean breeze to wash over the space. The view of the ocean was wonderful. The location was perfect, when I needed breaks, I could walk around the quiet neighborhood or walk along the bluff and alwyas returned to my writing inspired.The property, fixtures and appliances are dated, but clean and functional. The blinds need some attention. I cooked every day I was there and had everything I needed to do so. You definitely need to bring your own spices, oil etc. but everything else to cook with was available. One suggestion would be to have streaming apps on yhe main tv as well as the one in the smaller bedroom. But I didn't watch tv so it wasn't a problem. Also, the natural environment around the home was beautiful. Even saw deer several times!The fireplace in the bedroom is a nice touch.The management company was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. I would definitely return.

We usually come with family but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was just my husband and I. We love this house. The proximity to the ocean and walking trails is perfect. It was a little lonely this year without our granddaughter as she loves to walk with us on the trails. We look forward to next year with her and the long walks and the beautiful sunsets we can see from our balcony.

Peaceful Location by the Sea

We celebrated a lovely holiday family reunion at the Blue Castile. The house was spacious and well appointed for use by three couples. We were able to cook several large meals and entertain easily in the open kitchen and dining room space. The proximity to the beach and local park allowed for easy access to strolling and running on the trails. We had a wonderful stay!

Perfectly located close to the beach and Fiscalani Ranch Reserve, which allowed for daily walking and/or running on trails and tidepooling.
