We enjoyed our stay. Most everything was as depicted in the listing.
The only thing I would suggest to the host is to have more detailed TV/cable instructions. We were trying to watch the Mizzou vs Oklahoma game and had no clue to get to the SEC network.
Not a lot of detail in the welcome packet.
Thx
We loved our trip to the Wild Heron chalet! A group of five adults going to the local Ren Faire looking for a place to stay. We were underwhelmed with our hotel options so I thought I’d take a look on VRBO. I found this place by chance and the whole crew was excited and the trip was booked in about 15 minutes upon finding the listing. I had some technical difficulties logging in and half of our information was under my maiden name while the rest was in my current name. I messaged the owner and he responded right away and was incredibly kind and helpful. My husband and I showed up on Friday, we explored the chalet and enjoyed some quiet time on the porch and in the sun room, as it was after dark and we had forgotten our bug spray. The next morning, we enjoyed coffee on the dock and enjoyed what can only be described as a tranquil morning before stomping around the enchanted forest 20ish minutes away. Our friends arrived that evening and begged to stay for an additional night (though we had to be grownups and work Monday morning). We all got some great views, great sleep, and great times visiting in such a warm and relaxed environment. I haven’t stayed in many VRBOs, because many just feel *off* to me, that was not the case here. The decor, the lighting, everything just seemed the perfect amount of cozy that dares you to settle in with a hot drink and a book. This was my favorite place we have ever stayed in all of our adventures and I hope we can book again for next year!
