We had an absolute blast staying at this house. It is perfect for large groups/families, plenty of room for everyone. There is not one area of the house we didn’t use, including the outdoor green space and pool! We enjoyed family breakfasts, outdoor grilled dinners, pool lounging days, green space games, and living room hang outs. We truly loved our stay and it was sad to say goodye. Would definitely stay here again.
Part of our family (10 members) thoroughly enjoyed staying on Lumber Lane , where we gathered together one night with other members of our family ( in nearby houses) for my husbands birthday party. Our Home host, Darcy, was very helpful in advising and helping in every way to make the party a success.
The house is vey attractive and comfortably furnished and suitable for family gatherings. The location is beautiful and quiet.
We had the best weekend in the Hamptons! The property is extremely clean and has everything you need.
The owners were very welcoming and responsive, fantastic people that take great care of their house and guests.
The pool is much bigger than what we expected, bbq work great and kitchen is well equipped.
Very happy we found this property, I would recommend 100%.
We had an incredible week at this house. It is clean, bright, airy, nice bedrooms, great pool, big deck, situated right between Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton, in a beautiful location. The owners were very nice and responsive. Highly recommend!

Fabulous house for a family vacation, in a perfect location
While they advertise the house as a five bedroom, there’s a bonus room off one bedroom that is ideal for parents and a baby, or kids and nanny. The pool is fully fenced, so no worries about a toddler wandering into the water. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to cook, or entertain. And the back terrace is perfection - a table for eight under a pergola covered by vines, and a second set of chaises for lazy afternoon reading. We loved it.

Paradise in the Hamptons
Our vacation couldn't have been better -- beautiful home and property with exceptional furnishings. A bit of paradise. As a seasoned cook, I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and, as an avid reader I relished the extensive library of many books on my must-read list. Accommodating and helpful hosts meeting us on arrival for an orientation. Needed services and repairs were done promptly.

Country charm, with great access to town and the beach
880 Lumber lane allows you to kick back in the country while having great access to all the Hamptons have to offer. The property includes well manicured landscapes in a private setting. The home and property are well designed and allows privacy both inside the house for all guests as well having plenty of room to spread out relax in its beautiful grounds. We would absolutely come back again.

Quiet Oasis in the Hamptons
After discovering the Hamptons just two years ago (we normally vacation on the west coast), we had the good fortune to find an absolute gem in Bridgehampton.
It fit the bill perfectly: tastefully decorated, a kitchen with every possible tool/appliance one would need, a stunning garden and a heated swimming pool! The owners were very responsive to questions before we arrived. We had one minor hiccup - a running toilet in the guest bathroom, but within one hour of notifying the owners, a plumber arrived and corrected the problem. That's what I call service!
A 4-minute drive for our morning coffee, food shopping at Citarella and perfect quiet back at the house. What more could one ask for?

Simply out of this world!
I can not say enough good things about this wonderful home in the Hamptons.!
The property is beautifully landscaped with a large 25 yard saltwater pool and very spacious backyard. The home itself is a beautifully classic shingle style house with a very comfortable, elegant, sophisticated and cozy interior. The decor and artwork is extreme tasteful and interesting as well. There is a great working fireplace in the living room and very confortable furniture to while away the time in.
All the bedrooms are ample in size, several have en suite bathrooms. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with top notch appliances and amenities. The house is located in a quiet area across from a preserve. You can easily walk or bike to the town of Bridgehampton and the beach. The house is very close to a number of great farm stands as well.
The owners are extremely nice, fair and generous people who genuinely care that whomever stays in their home has nothing short of a terrific time. I will definitely return here again and again!

Beautiful home! Fabulous owners!
This home is the most beautiful summer home I have experienced - so delightfully designed and landscaped (with delicious pool!), comfortable furnishings, and fabulously appointed kitchen! Everything was available and top quality. And, I was lucky to meet the owners who are the most charming and caring folks - what a gem!

About the host
Hosted by Darcy McCulloch
My husband and I bought this house over twenty years ago. We have lovingly renovated it and landscaped the property.
Why they chose this property
This is not just a rental property. We spend quite a bit of time in this house and have put a lot of effort into making it very comfortable for ourselves and for our guests. It is a great house for entertaining and for accommodating house guests. It is also perfect for kids.
What makes this property unique
This house is particularly sunny and cheerful. The downstairs master bedroom suite lends itself to accommodating house guests and relatives without intruding on the private family space above.
