The “Oasi del Fiumefreddo” is a charming farmhouse residence with fully equipped apartments. It is situated inside a park called 'Riserva Naturale del Fiumefreddo' at 600 mts from the beautiful beach Marina di Cottone (every year blue flag CEE for the unpolluted sea). The apartment, with 2 separated bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen-living room, has colorful atmospheres. It has a private entrance and offers the following services: fully furnished kitchen, self air conditioning/heating, tv sat, wi fi access, hairdryer, iron and ioning board, bed linens with duvet cover and towels.
The garden, with a beautiful view of Etna volcano and Taormina, is equipped with lounge areas with tables and chairs, barbecue area, children playground, area relax with outdoor jacuzzi spa and private parking.
The residence is situated at 1 km from the village of Fiumefreddo, 5 km from Giardini Naxos and then Taormina.
The location allows you to visit all the major attraction of the east coast and to organize excursions to Etna volcano, Taormina, Alcantara Gorge’s, Riviera of the Cyclops, Catania city and (in 1 hour) to reach Syracuse. The surroundings also offers many sport and activities: horse riding, go-kart, flying with hang-gliding, golf and much more.. nature trails, archeological tours, adventure parks and local fairs as well as Catania and Taormina movida!

Sehr typisch sizilianisches Flair, sehr anheimelnd mit Blick zum Etna.

Ee wurde sich um alles gekümmert im typisch südländischen Stil, sehr angenehm, in der Nachbarschaft eine hervorragende Versorgung von frischem Obst und Gemüse. Zugverbindung entlang der ganzen Ostküste, tolle Ausblicke, alles in überschaubaren Entfernungen, Nähe zum Meer. Nunzia vor Ort war sehr liebenswürdig.

Prima appartement

Locatie is mooi en rustig gelegen. Ons Appartement had twee ruime slaapkamers, maar slechts een kleine keuken. Ondanks dat er buiten veel ruimte en gelegenheid is om te zitten, nodigt het niet per se uit om dit te doen, met name door de matige staat van onderhoud van alles. Het is een prachtig huis, maar er zou veel meer uit te halen zijn.

Der gezahlte Preis war für Ausstattung und Sauberkeit unangemessen.

Die Unterkunft liegt reltiv gut zur Verkehrsanbingung Autobahn, Einkauf und Strand. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin funktional kurz. Das Haus liegt in einer Obstplantage. Der auf dem Anwesen befindliche Spielplatz mit seinen Gerätschaften ist größtenteils abgenutzt und kaputt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist ein kleiner Pool. Die Wohnung 5 ist abgenutzt und die Sauberkeit läßt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Überall waren schwarze lange Haare von Vormietern oder Putzfrau zu finden. Wir mussten bei Ankunft gründlich sauber machen. Das war sehr ärgerlich. Die sanitäre Einrichtung unterstreicht den maroden Zustand des Hauses. Duschhalter locker, Toilettenspühlung defekt.

Würden uns sehr überlegen dort einen weiteren Urlaub zu verbringen

Sehr pflegebedürftige, spartanisch eingerichtete Wohneinheit. WC und Dusche reparaturbedürftig. Außenanlage sehr schön aber ungepflegt. Sehr freundliche aber nur gelegentlich anwesende Mitarbeiterin. Reklamationen wurden wenn möglich umgehend behoben. Den Vermieter haben wir erst nach einigen Tagen kurz gesehen.

ideaal met kinderen

apartement met basiscomfort (geen grote luxe). ideaal voor met kinderen die alleen kunnen spelen in de tuin rond het huis. dichtbij het strand, alleen te gevaarlijk om te voet te gaan want langs deze weg durven de italianen snel rijden.

Mädlsurlaub Sizilien

Die Unterkunft bietet alles Notwendige und Angenehme, dass man sich für einen Urlaub vorstellt. Die Vermieter und Angestellte sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und wir wurden mit frischen Produkten aus dem eigenen Anbau verwöhnt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön hierfür. Anmerkung: lediglich für die Anreise möchte ich einen Tipp geben. Hierfür müsste es eine detaillierte Beschreibung geben (auch Anführen des Namens "Oasis del Fiumefreddo"), denn diese ist schwer zu finden und von der Strasse aus nicht gut einsehbar.

The best place to go on Sicily!

Close to the sea, looking at the Etna this place between the lemon orchards is the best place to be when you want to see Sicily. The eastern part of the island is the most interesting part and from here you can go everywhere you like. Etna, Taoramina, Messina, Syracuse, all is possible. The accommodation itself is perfect. Everything you need and like is present. Like a little part of heaven. The place to go!!!
