About this property
Glamping Tent Large at Enchanted Forest Retreat
We are deep in the mountains and the last 2 miles on Stetson Rd is narrow and winding. All the roads are paved.
No electricity in the tent, use campground bathroom. No kitchen.
No trash service! Pack out your trash!
No campfire, drug/marijuana, loud noise allowed, quiet hour 10p
Large 200sf tent in the prime location, very close to the shared bathroom (hot water)
Max 4 person, 1 car
Pet fee $10/day, inform host
No shoes allowed inside tent
Picnic table
No electricity in tent
You can rent heater and propane tank
Sink in utility shed with drinking water and hot water
45 acre forest, hiking trails, creeks, waterfall, deer, turkey, owl
20 min to Los Gatos downtown, 25 min to Santa Cruz
The sofa can sleep one person, but it is not a sofa bed!
Bedding are provided, bring your own towels (or rent $3/towel) and flashlight!
Inform host if you have pet or 2nd car, fee will be charged manually.
Propane heater $5/day, propane $20/tank, towel $3, book and pay before 12p of your arrival date.
If you have to bring a 2nd car, let the host know and $15/day parking fee will be charged manually. It's very expensive to maintain the paved road, and our neighbors had lots of complaints about too much traffic due to the campers coming so we have to minimize the cars as much as possible.
Please take off your shoes going into the tent.
This is a tent and glamping is camping, we are in the woods, take all precautions needed for camping, including insect repellent etc.
Our water is from a natural spring.
We are in the rural mountains and woods so overall it is pretty rustic!
It's tick season in the spring and summer, watch out for ticks and use protection (insect repellant) as needed.
We have a main trail on our 45 acre. The head of the main trail is right by the red Main House, just follow the paved the road down and it will become dirt road at campsite 12. It's about 45min to 1hr hike down to the end where the Amaya creek serves the boundary to the neighbor's property. On the main trail there is also a small waterfall, but it is not visible from the trail, you have to go off the trail on the left side to find it. I put pink ribbon on the tree there, but at other spots too so may not be the best sign.
Enjoy hiking, creeks and small water fall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing (deer, turkey, owl etc), star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more.
