Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Get a full rustic Alaskan experience at this cozy dry cabin. Pet friendly and located just outside Fairbanks on the way to Chena Hotsprings! Pets must be reported in reservation.
This is a dry cabin on a shared property. Due to this being a dry cabin you will be provided with water. If you happen to empty both water jugs either leave them on the cabin porch and/or send a message to us and we will get the jug(s) filled asap. Along with that there are buckets under the sink to catch the water that goes down it. Once the buckets are full they will need to be dumped outside the cabin, on the side by the outhouse. The outhouse will have all the supplies you need to be as comfortable as possible!

Well, the sleeping area does not have proper ventilation. Otherwise, it is what you can see in the photos. Unfortunately, my negative evaluation is based on the impossibility of resting properly, not to mention that not having ventilation in the sleeping area is dangerous due to the accumulation of any harmful gases. We left the property after a couple of terrible nights. Of course the owners didn't refund us for the other nights we paid for (understandable).

This dry cabin was a perfect way to try to experience my Dry Cabin Alaskan Dream for my vacation out in Fairbanks. Kassie and Garret were great hosts. They would check in if I needed anything, which was nice since I was a solo female traveler. The cabin was cute and cozy. Definitely recommend bring a book or games to keep you occupied while your there. It was peaceful and since I’ve been on the go since I started my vacation in Alaska. It was nice to be with myself and enjoy some fresh air in the morning in the woods. It’s a little out from the main downtown area in Fairbanks. So getting a rental car would be ideal or do what I did and just enjoy/ appreciate the full dry cabin experience. Definitely recommend staying here.
