Fantastic setting
Wonderful place for our gang and 3 dogs. We rented kayaks, ate lots of crab and hung out at the pool. Jerry and David are awesome hosts, very attentive and went out of their way to make our 97 mother comfortable on the main floor. Thank you!

The property was ever so beautiful. Well maintained. You can watch the sun rise and sun set with just turning your head. The pool was the most important part for my family.

Perfect family get away
We loved “the mansion”. The house and grounds were gorgeous. The house was roomy and comfortable. There is a brand new kitchen that needed more bowls and glasses but who could complain? Two brand new clothes washers and two dryers that made life easy. We needed to buy laundry det, soap, shampoo, pool towels etc but we bought everything at a nearby supermarket, Food Lion. The area is very secluded so plan on cooking home. We conveniently shipped meat to the house and bought all our produce at a farmers market. We BBQ’d every night. Bug spray is a must but David and Jerry have the surrounding area sprayed so it isn’t as bad as expected. The pool was delightful and I don’t think the kids ever got out. It was a perfect family getaway. There is a dock so if you have a boat, bring it. Thay would’ve been the coup de Gras. Would definitely come again

Best relaxing week ever.
After a long, hard year due to Covid and everything around that, our family, which includes folks living on the west coast, needed a place to reconnect, relax and return to feeling “normal”. This was the perfect place for all of that. We saw no one the whole week other than we went to the store. The kitchen is fabulous and made cooking a pleasure. The pool cannot be beat! Our granddaughters, along with us, took full advantage of it and learned to swim. Our kayaks left us with fun memories also. All in all, I cannot thank David and Jerry enough for having such a beautiful place and sharing it. Can’t wait to find a time to go back.

Fabulous Experience
The property is beautiful. The portion we occupied was recently updated and was extremely comfortable for 8 people. The pool was great. The owners were very sociable and fun. We have used VRBO many times but this was by far our best experience. Unforgettable.

We loved the property. It's enormous with plenty of room for us and our dog to run around. A pool to ourselves and a dock. We caught crabs, went boating and had a great time. Jerry and David were incredible hosts, who made our stay wonderful.

Wonderful Isolation!
Overall we were very pleased with the property. The stand outs were the pool, isolation, access to the bay, and the hosts! Jerry and David were wonderful and tended to every need. They were also cautious with current COVID-19 restrictions and behaviors. This was critical to us since we had an immunocompromized guest. Kitchen was a little tight but we cooked every meal there and made it work. It was well stocked with utensils and pots/pans. Linens and towels (for showering) were provided (thank you!). We loved the large dining room table and we played endless games there between kayaking and visits to the pool. This is exactly what we needed and we felt safe amidst the craziness in the world right now. Thank you for a great time!

Great Getaway!
We had a small group of friends who wanted to get away for a few days and just relax someplace beautiful with a pool. The Bayhouse was the perfect option - spacious, comfortable, immaculate and in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed relaxing time by the pool, watched the boats on the bay, and part of our group even did a little trip to the state park nearby. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations, and our hosts Jerry and David made sure every detail was perfect. The Bayhouse truly is an oasis of relaxation on the Bay. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, and the A/C worked perfectly. We were able to cook meals for the group in the kitchen, and also enjoyed picking up some meals in town. The Food Lion is very convenient for anything you might need, the store was recently refurbished and is really nice. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, easy getaway, the Bayhouse is a great choice, we would definitely come back. Thank you to our hosts for a great visit!

Beautiful
Property was not only beautiful but also clean. Property managers were quick to address any questions we had. The kitchen was a bit cramped but nothing to really gripe about. We did buy a small crab trap but ended up losing it when the rope broke. To our surprise there was a bigger trap tied to the pier. The trap has been in the water for a while but still perfectly functional. We ended catching more large blue crabs. Look for the rope tied at the end of the pier. My wife even got a tour of the mansion run as a B&B. Our two dogs got to run around the whole property which was huge. Perfect relaxing getaway thanks.

Family summer time
My family and I met up for a long weekend in July 2019. We had a great time. The check in process was easy, both Gerry and David were flexible with our arrival time when our schedules changed and we had to move things around a bit. The house is as shown and described. The kitchen is small but we were able to make meals for 8 adults and two kids without any issues. Pots, pans, dishes, utensils were all available. We enjoyed chatting with Gerry and David and getting to k is more about the house and area. We also enjoyed just hanging around in the pool as a family for most of the day. Overall great stay!

Beautiful Secluded Getaway
If you want to be secluded out in the country to rest & relax, then this is for you. Located about 50 minutes from Ocean City or Chincoteague. The nearest town for groceries or restaurants was Crisfield which is 12 minutes away. We had 6 adults & 2 children staying at the Bayhouse for a week for our annual get-together. We enjoyed the pool, rented kayaks that we used right off the pier, & explored the gardens, toured the mansion, went crabbing, & took a few trips to the beach. The owners Gerry & David are just lovely & we really enjoyed our time with them. They are amazing storytellers & make you feel at home. Couples would love a romantic weekend get-away here, perfect for spring, summer, or fall.

Beautiful Property, Great House and Proprietors
We rented the house for a family celebration and had a fantastic time, so much so that we are considering making this an annual trip. We spent a lot of time in the warm pool water which gets plenty of sun, and the grounds and the bay view are absolutely beautiful. One of the unique activities the property offers is that we were able to catch some crabs off the dock which was a very fun family activity that everyone enjoyed. The proprietors are without question the best that I have encountered, they are always available to help up but never intrude, they are very outgoing and offer up great suggestions for what to do and where to stay while in the area. The kitchen is very small, but it does have the necessities to cook, and there is also an outdoor grill to use.

Peaceful but fun! Great for a family or friends getaway!
We rented this house for a 3-night stay with a family of 6 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 toddler. We had fun swimming in the pool, as well as kayaking off the pier. While we paddled down the deep water "creek" toward the river and bay, we were thrilled to discover a bald eagle's nest and see the eagle flying and perching near its nest. There were lots of crabs swimming in the creek and getting caught in the traps. Because we were content to hang out with each other at the house and our time was short, we didn't explore the rest of the area. The grounds of the house were beautiful and spacious. The downstairs of the house is filled with comfy couches, a large table to eat and play games, and a home theater with an enormous collection of DVDs. There is also a full-sized bar for those who want more of a Happy Hour atmosphere. The kitchen is quite small yet adequate for basic meals, which is all we wanted to cook. We did get pizza that could be delivered from a nearby pizzeria. Finally, the owners were great to work with and responded immediately when a freak power outage in the area occurred in the late afternoon but lasted less than two hours. Thanks, J & D!

If you are seeking out that perfect amount of charm, privacy and relaxation, this is your stop.
The perfect retreat gathering place for our family. The sprawling estate rests in a cove of established trees and right at the point of Coulbourne Creek offering a slight breeze and utter privacy. The Iron/Brass hounds regally guard the entrance to the property of which you enter through a tunnel of gracefully high swaying branches on the tree lined drive. The owners were gracious of helping accommodate extra persons at the last minute and making sure each of us was pleased with the location and offerings. We were provided First Class Service in a small Eastern Shore Town. The staff & owners were Charming and very accommodating to make sure we were pleased and having fun at all times. The sprawling manor was spectacular, secluded and offered true peace during our time there. We were able to laugh, cry and celebrate the lives of our loved ones recently passed away along with relishing in the strong family bond of loved ones sharing time together during our stay. While visiting, our activities included: swimming in the Grecian pool and fountain, catching the rays on its blue slate decks and chilling in the shade at the outdoor bar while dinner was being cooked on the Barbie. We launched canoes, paddles boards and kayaks right off the dock for fun summer sport on the secluded private Coulbourne creek leading out to the bay. The garden area allowed for alone time and quiet walks; it was meticulously groomed and cared for. We were blessed to not have any rain other than in the late evenings while attending the Bayhouse, however, the cherry paneled great room with large flat-screen television offered something for us all; whether, movies, games or reading (maybe catching a few z’s too!) whichever was our individual choice of distraction. The Plush English leather sofa recliners were just that PLUSH!!! The Mansion was luxurious and fancy; however not to be outshone, The Bayhouse has its own charm & contained a Beverly Hills style all over! All amenities we needed were definitely met. And the beds were resoundingly comfortable; unanimously agreed amongst us all…comfortable!!!! We could not determine whether the sunsets or sunrises were more spectacular; we’ll let you decide which one you like better. Five GOLD STAR Recommended.

Breath-taking
You have arrived! -From the moment you pull through the gates, down the tree-lined drive, slowly approaching the gorgeous home, rising along the water to greet you. Everything is immaculate! We were a large group, in town for an event in Salisbury, about 20 minutes drive and couldn't be happier that we chose to stay at this property. The owner was incredibly accommodating to our ever changing needs. The private home was the perfect set up with entertaining downstairs but incredibly quiet and private upstairs for peace. We grilled by the pool and relaxed at the bar. Acomodations were spotless, like a show room! The craftsmanship is a wonder to look at. The morning greets you crisp and clean and the sun slips away for the night, while you are completely in your own world. Thank you to Gerry for being just that AWESOME. It was our privilege to stay in your property. Hope to see you next year.

A wonderful stay
We brought a rather large group to Kingsbay and enjoyed the large property and all the amenities it had to offer. The owners were extremely accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. I even had car trouble while there and the owners did all they could to put me in touch with the best local mechanic and allowed the car to stay at the property after our stay until it was fixed. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

A great place to get away from it all
A great place to just get away from it all. The cottage is beautiful and has all you need for a long weekend away. The property is amazing- right on the water and plenty of acres of land to walk around, enjoy the scenery, crabs, and birds, and see the many stars at night. I rented a kayak and was out on the water each morning. The owners are very kind and hospitable and ensured I had anything I needed, as well as where to go in the area. I took a few 1/2 day trips- e.g. ferry to Tangiers Island, Chincoteague, Berlin, and other small towns- lots to see, shop, eat, and photograph.

Beautiful grounds and lovely space!
The grounds, pool, view, and location are really as beautiful as they look in the pictures! We especially loved the pool, which gets nice and comfy warm in the summer sun. We had six adults and two kids at the house and it was plenty big enough with five separate rooms and three baths. The bar and patio would make this an absolutely stunning place to have a nice afternoon/evening party, though in the summer, this was pretty buggy in the evenings, which was a bit of a downer not to be able to enjoy such a beautiful space more. But in other seasons, I'll bet it's marvelous! The kitchen is also quite petite, and so this would not make a great house for groups looking to do lots of cooking, but certainly basic food prep and such is fine and though it was small the owners have nice dish and glassware available that would befit engagements from the simple to the elegant. Jerry, David, and friends were all lovely and reliable to communicate with. The local crab is really good and kayaking is nice. Some beds were in better shape than others, but all the sheets and towels were particularly good for a guesthouse and attention was paid to stocking hampers, chairs, lamps, etc. in all the rooms. The owners thoughtfully provided a starter bag of ice, but I'd recommend also bringing your own drinking water as well.

Beautiful getaway
Our family had a grand vacation at The Bayhouse. Even the teenagers thought the house was "so cool" and you know how hard they are to please :). We had a great time swimming in the pool, and walking around the beautiful lawns. Sitting under the trees, listening to the wind and the birds is so peaceful. The house has an amazing media room and a nice movie selection. Take your own DVDs too. The kitchen is fully equipped, but small, so if you're planning on cooking, I suggest carrying prepped food, and use the kitchen just for heating up. There a large dining table so the entire family can sit down for a nice meal. The bar is great! Bedrooms all have a bay view, and there are three baths between the five bedrooms. One room has attached bath. We were a party of nine, and there was plenty of sitting, sleeping, bathing room for everyone. We rented kayaks from the local shop, and went out on the bay. The town of Chrisfield is only a ten minute drive away for shopping, and pizza. Ocean city is an hour away if you want a bit of activity. The owners, Gerry and David are really nice. Aleks the caretaker is very friendly with lots of great advice and interesting stories. I highly recommend the house for a peaceful getaway. I hope I can make it back soon.
